For all the criticism, this is a solid game with the Wastelanders update and I would recommend grabbing a copy for this price. It will most likely run on next gen systems as well.

Is there a difference between the one sold at Best Buy and Amazon, or just two different places to buy the same thing for the same price?

I saw reviews on Amazon that said xbox gold is required to play this. Anyone clarify? What about ps4 version, is PS plus needed?

You need the online for PS and Xbox. This is an online only MMORPG. It’s....not good. I’m pretty much buying the steelbook and getting a free game.

It did the same thing to me. If something is even close to near, get them for store pick up. The. After the order has gone through, switch it to shipping. Worst case is it doesn’t work and you just don’t pick up. I was able to switch mine to shipping that way. It hasn’t shipped yet though so we’ll see.

The problem is BB doesn't provide stores with any signage that says the steelbooks are free with the corresponding games so they just sit there until the price drops or an online order that automatically added it comes through.

Can't remember but this may be a case where they didn't shrinkwrap it. If the peel UPC sticker is on the case, then yeah that's exactly right.

Okay. Time to return the empty case. $6 for an empty case is just stupid!

 
I grabbed this and the game ships separately from the empty steelbook, so you should receive 2 packages. The steelbook is open, without wrapping.
