So would Quuen’s Gambit be awkward to watch with an elderly person? I was thinking it would be a good option but then the finger-in-the-butt talk is making me reconsider

Basically I’m looking for a non-finger-in-the-butt show

Great show as always, I’ve been listening since God knows when. You guys usually do a great job keeping politics out of the show, I know where Cheapy and Wombat fall due to their Twitter accounts but can’t tell about shipwreck at all and that is great. This last show it did creep in, please keep it out! I don’t line up with your views but respect what you say on Twitter and try and see your point of view. But the podcast, it’s a nice break from all that. Thanks again for keeping us all entertained!

I wonder what would happened with people manipulated by corporate media and big tech 24/7 if Trump wins in december. Civil war would be great for ratings I guess as is divison, outrage, etc :)


Anyway congrats on Biden win, Jimmy Dore the far left guy praises him all the time.

There’s nothing graphic like Cheapy and Wombat were hoping for, but there are sex scenes that you might not enjoy watching with a geezer.

Haha not sure how you don't always catch their political remarks. Usually they are in every episode but that's fine because it's their podcast. Also, cheapy and wombat are leftists. If you don't agree with them on everything political they don't want you to listen to their show. Sorry, but they dislike you as a person and have no respect for you. That's the modern day left in a nutshell.

I love rekindling the Wombat/Shipwreck "moving games from external to internal" debate on the Xbox Series X, so here goes.

I had Ori and the Will of the Wisps downloaded on my external drive connected to my Xbox One X.  When I connected it to the Series X, it immediately updated.   I then moved it to the internal drive and booted it up to look at the beautiful 4K resolution/120hz action.  I was immediately met with an in-game message saying that 120hz was not supported on my device.  After troubleshooting and much Internet searching, I found the solution.  I had to uninstall and re-download directly to the internal hard drive to get the right version.  I was then able to get 4K/120.  "Smart Delivery," indeed.

Bottom line, legacy versions of games that were optimized for Series S/X have to be redownloaded directly to the internal drive.  You can't transfer from external drives and get the optimization.

UPDATE 11/17/2020 - Now officially recognized by Microsoft as an issue:

Smart Delivery

  • Known Issue: Some users updating certain Smart Delivery games including Gears 5 on their Xbox Series X from an external USB hard drive brought from an Xbox One, Xbox One S, or Xbox One X console may find that the in-Game menus do not recognize the game has finished installing, as well as possibly see graphical corruption.
  • Workaround: Users can avoid this by performing a fresh install directly to the Xbox Series X.  We are working on a fix to be released with a future console update.

Guys, I’m a bit behind on Cagcasts but getting caught up. Just now listened the Microsoft purchase of Bethesda one. After a few weeks to digest, do you still think future Bethesda titles will be xbox exclusives? Why would Microsoft not want to maximize the ROI by releasing on multiple consoles for $70, and maybe driving consumers to Game Pass by making it free there. As a consumer that leans to PlayStation, and with the cost of the new consoles (+storage), it makes the choice of PS exclusives vs Bethesda exclusives a tough one. And one I would rather not make.

Usually a snipe here or there but it was stronger in that show but you’re right it’s their show, and this is show “feedback” so figured throw that in there. I hope the rest isn’t true as people and fathers I’m totally in step with them and some of my closest friends are leftest and even though I’m on the right, we absolutely get along and have constructive discord. But with what you see out there I totally get where your coming from, just different when you’re one on one and in person, common ground isn’t hard to find.

These dudes literally talk about anything on the show, that's why so many of us enjoy it, they keep it real, I know more about Cheapys bowel movement than I should... God forbid, they talk about politics, cry me a river.
 
Good show guys, as always. 

I am like Shipwreck, I cannot get excited about AC Valhalla. It looks way too much like the last two games. I wonder if they did this because they could reuse a lot of assets from Origins and Odyssey. I played both of those, and noticed that many of the buildings and towns in Odyssey were slightly modified versions of those in Origins. I cannot believe we haven't had an AC Japan yet. Ninjas are assassins, for crying out loud! What the hell is Ubisoft's problem, do they hate Asians? 

I have a question specifically for Cheapy. At one time he made an FAQ for how he produces the CAGcast and I was hoping he could do one for how he makes the Twitch version. I have a friend who is launching a channel and needs some pointers.
