I'm putting a stop to this now.

It is not a "Hamburger Button" unless you press that button and 20 minutes later Burger King shows up at your door.

A pictogram of 3 of the same thing on top of one another is, and always will be, a stack.

You do not fold shirts, place 3 on top of one another, and call that a "hamburger of shirts".

Great show guys as usual. Long time listener but as one of your apparently few black listeners I feel compelled to point out the obvious counterpoint. Even if the Dukes of Hazard characters weren’t overtly racist themselves they were still using the confederate flag, a clear symbol of white supremacy, as an innocuous prop and that is still pretty crappy. The car itself is named after a man who was not only a confederate general but also a vicious slave owner who personally terrorized black people. A court had to force him to free his rightfully free slaves. If you agree with twitch banning the flag then you have to get rid of anything tied to that bs “lost cause” nostalgia. I laughed out loud when you guys casually pointed out that you couldn’t even remember any black characters on the show. Gotta love the 80s.

It’s been a long time but there was a recurring police sheriff from the town over. I remember him after seeing him, but I haven’t watched that show in about 35 years. I do have a couple things from it from back then that are nostalgic to me because my grandpa passed away when I was about 4 and I remember playing with them with him (a set of trading cards, an Uno game, and some small Ertl cars.

4K wasn’t really the problem on the PS4 Pro and X1X. Quite a few games ran at native 4K, like Wipeout HD and Forza Horizon 4. And many more used smart rendering techniques to approximate 4K to great effect, like Horizon Zero Dawn.

The problem was the weak Jaguar CPUs which meant that even when games (particularly open world games) dropped down the resolution, they still couldn’t get near 60 fps.

Right, I enjoyed the hell out of plenty of 4k hdr games on the X1X.

When there was a choice to go 60fps vs 30fps for prettier, I usually went with the 30fps and visuals.

With Series X I get to have both fps and visuals so far (AC Valhalla).

The next thing you're going to tell me is that the 9 little box icon that shows me my Google apps on my Google page is not called a Waffle button.

Suddenly hungry...

Good show, boyyys!

Regarding consoles remembering your preference for framerate or fidelity mode, the PS5 does have a system-wide setting that will set games according to your choice. By default it's set to just go with whatever the game chooses, but you can set it to always prefer performance or fidelity mode. That same screen will also let you set defaults for inverted controls in both 1st and 3rd person games. As an inverted player, this was a great feature from the Xbox 360 that I was really surprised to see abandoned by Microsoft.

Plot twist. It's the same company.
