Control Ultimate Edition (PC Digital Code) $14.79

I just bought a copy of this game on PS4 for $5 at Walmart. Is it any good?
Base-game's great. Played it on PC.

Haven't got to the DLC's yet.

Not sure how the PS4 version performs, but the PC version isn't the greatest performer. At 1080p, had to lock it to like 40fps on my 6gb GTX 1060 laptop), despite the game looking amazing here on the PC.

I should check it on my new RTX 3070, with and without RTX going.

Well, for $5, it was in my price range. :)

Easily worth $5, no matter what version you got.

Did you get the base-game only? Or Ultimate Edition?

Any version that is NOT an Ultimate Version - no PS5 Upgrade Patch for those owners.

If you got the Ultimate Edition - you can pull that over to the PS5 for 60fps performance mode and a RT 30fps mode, when the patch is released.

The PS5 Upgrade Patch for Ultimate Edition is out on Feb 2 - https://www.engadget.com/control-ultimate-edition-ps5-xbox-series-s-x-performance-graphics-mode-155320924.html

It's just the base game.

It's just the base game.
Still easily worth the $5.

Highly recommend the game, especially if it runs well and plays well on PS4.

The levitating/flying; shooting; and telekinesis skill of tossing almost any object not nailed down in the game-world is a lot of fun. If you like Remedy's past works - i.e. Alan Wake; Max Payne 1+2; Quantum Break - chances are, you'll dig this too.
