I'd buy if you want that next gen upgrade, but who knows when that is. Not sure it's playable on previous gen consoles. There will be an alright game there someday. Almost done with it on PC.

Not sure what the future of this game is looking, but it is/was planned to receive DLC and an online component. Usually they release a "Complete Edition" down the line so might be worth waiting.

Damn this is a huge price drop only 1 Month after launch. Would have been amazing to price match this, but I got it in the B2G1 last month and have been able to price match it to $50 and the other paid game to $30, so not going to complain too much.

I feel bad for the devs themselves. They said they thought they would have until 2022. Their corporate overlords got greedy.

9 times out of 10 these decisions are not the ones busting their asses making the game. It's their bosses who don't even make games.

True, and I get that, but 9/10 times your money doesn’t benefit the full team and only the execs who get large bonuses. We already know former staff said the “profit share” they do is just PR spin, lower end workers get much smaller bonuses and they pay minimum wage for low level jobs, which is unheard of in most game studios in US. Low end entry level positions at US studios start at least 3x+ US min wage

GTAV sold 100+ million copies and a lot of that success was because it came out at the tail end of a generation with eventual upgraded versions that people bought again. Why did they think mandating Cyberpunk come out this year would lead to the same results with next gen upgrades being free this time?

about 70 hours in on it at the moment (base ps4). bugs here and there (mostly funny). a couple big ones though. had a bug where you can't use your weapons/items. reloading prior saves didn't work. after looking online, had to trigger a cutscene to fix it. another bug where a quest giver calls you to activate certain side quests but unable to answer the phone or finish the quests as a result. could not find a way to fix it. overall, still a fun game and definitely worth $30.

My experience on XSX hasn’t been great, main complaint is pretty constant bugs (usually relatively minor, one where my car was stuck inside of a light pole? I had to reload a much earlier save to escape). So CD Projekt Red exchanged it for a PC copy for me. The first time I launched it the game crashed my pretty high end PC completely, forced my system to restart during the character creator. That’s a first for me.

It’s not the worst game in the world when you’re playing by any means, but it wasn’t ready to launch and still is in rough shape both technically and from a gameplay loop standpoint. There’s a false sense of choice, abilities in the trees are often completely useless, fairly repetitive mission structure. $30 isn’t robbery but you don’t need to rush to buy this if you’re on the fence. It’s not ready and might not be for a long time/ever.

During their refund period they had an option to select a PC key instead of refund. I’m not sure if they’re still offering that but I just emailed them and they added the key to my library

My BB return window ended Saturday. That’s probably what they were waiting for before dropping the price.

My return window ends on the 26th. Was able to pricematch.

$30 for the game, steelbook, and $20 in certificates issued because I had the game preordered. Not bad.

Sweet, still in my return window and originally had paid for it as part of b2f1. Already price matched Immortals from the same transaction. $60 for Immortals, Cyberpunk and the Pathless plus the reward certs. Beat Pathless and sold for 40 on ebay.

How would it be stealing if they returned one of the items (the steelbook) and the store's system accepts the return and refunds the $19.99? Doesn't that just mean that the store is willing to take back one of the items for that price? If the store didn't want it to be that way, they would set the system to deny the partial return (which they did), right?
