Can anyone help me out with the work arounds everyone is using for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate?

So my Xbox GPU sub lapses this week. I originally had a year or so of each service and they turned it into GPU I believe back when GPU became the new thing. I know a lot of people are still using similar workarounds but I just want to know what they are and which ones work if I've already had GPU?

I know a couple months ago people were saying to use EA Access codes but I was unsure how much time that gets you, same with the current Xbox Live 12 month codes.

EA Acess converts to 1/3 of the time at Ultimate so a 1 year EA Acess code gets you 4 months of Ultimate.

If you have a Sam's Club or Costco membership it is cheaper to buy 2 years of Gold for $94 and then get 1 month of Ultimate and the 2 years of gold will convert to Ultimate. You must wait until the current subscription expires and add the gold before getting Ultimste again.

That is awesome thanks so much. So once I add the gold, can I just buy a 1 month ultimate card and redeem it and it'll switch, or do I need to do something special?

Yes, just add the gold before adding the ultimate card.

I just did the same thing last month but on a smaller scale. I had a code for a free month of gold that was included with my One S, I redeemed the code then signed up for the $1 for 3 months of Ultimate deal and then the gold converted to Ultmaite automatically and I got 4 months of Ultimate.
