For those with both a PSVR and the Quest 2, which one are there usually better deals on? PSVR just had a big sale and I bought some games. The digital only Quest 2 has put me off of it since I like that PSVR does have physical discs I can always sell, trade or give away. I am however getting more and more intrigued after I got a chance to play it. I read about the head band rash issue but I am sure all of you probably have the free upgrade they sent in the mail. Is a 128GB the minimum you have to get? What do most people have? Is the PC to VR link cable a necessary accessory? I read that the upgraded headband is worth the extra money so I would have to get that?

I saw an unboxing of the new 128 gb quest 2 and it shipped with the silicone cover for the facial interface. The only new Quest 2's available at the moment are 128 gb and 256 gb. I don't know what most people buy, but I have the 256 gb. I don't know of any differences between the two other than storage. I am glad I have the 256 gb simply because I don't have to delete games to free up more space. Most games are pretty small and don't take long to download anyway, though. I can't think of any reason you would have to buy a cable if you have good wifi speeds. I use airlink or Virtual Desktop to play pc games with no real problems to speak of. If you sideload a lot of apps through sidequest you may need a link, but I think the cable that comes with the Quest 2 will work. I bought the Oculus Elite strap and wouldn't suggest that anyone else do so. I had one break on me as have many other people. They did replace it after a couple months, but they don't seem to have improved it. A lot of people seem to love this strap and I think it fits in a similar fashion as the psvr headset, so you may prefer that. This guy on the Youtube has a lot of reviews for accessories. You may find some of his reviews helpful.

I forgot to answer your question about sales. Most of the Oculus store sales are kinda ass. I think better deals are to be found on the playstation store. Mind you, I haven't done a direct comparison, this is just the impression that I get. Lately the Oculus store has a different game on sale for 24 hours with a new game up each day. They usually have two game bundles on sale for a week, changing them up each Friday. They will occasionally have a few random sales and sometimes some really good deals, but most sale prices seem to be about 10-20% off.

If you plan to play pc games on the quest there are often good deals to be had on steam or humble bundles.

I posted 4 vids of all the games that were just on sale in the PSVR thread. Most of them were very good prices and I bought 3 games: Red Matter, Intruders Hide and Seek and Cave Digger Riches for a total of $10.48. I will check out the stuff you posted thanks.

Holy Crap! I gotta start getting my  Fuck together. I guess I bought Zero Caliber at some point and never installed it. Anyway, like this post and it looks like I'll have a drawing later today if more than one person wants a steam code for Zero Caliber.
