You need to answer some questions about what your issue is, then submit proof of purchase and commence waiting (my current stage). I submitted yesterday afternoon and am awaiting an email reply from EA. It’ll probably come through sometime next week.
 
Quick question :
If you have the game on disc and an XBSX, is there an upgrade patch ?

Game looks really great with the upgrade on Series X. Almost makes me want to start up a New Game +, but the game is a bit of a grind once you’ve beaten it. Can’t wait for the sequel, which hopefully improves some of the rough areas from the original. Highly recommend if you haven’t played this and have a next gen console.
 
Just FYI:
I submitted the digital from disc form on EA and they replied back saying they needed me to use the form and submit all the images…… which I had just previously submitted

Don’t care enough to try again.
 
Same here. What a joke. I submitted everything and they keep sending that I need to send my proof of purchase which I did. So stupid

Still getting the run around. Anyone get this yet?

 
It took me several tries to get them to accept my proofs of purchase and every time they rejected it they never gave an explanation as to why, but on the third try they did accept it.

 
Honestly, this is getting ridiculous.  I've done it 5 times and everytime it doesn't work.  Is there a direct email I can message?  

 
Forget it everyone.  Just insert your ps4 disc into your ps5 and you can do it automatically .  So much better than dealing with the stupid customer serivce website.

On my fourth try currently. I see they updated the form for the PS4 upgrade asking for what region.

Would be really nice to get feedback about what the issue is... submitting new photos every time & same generic response. Oh well.

This wasn't meant for users who have a disc based PS5... If you were submitting proof of purchase for a PS5 Disc console there's your problem!

Well, that option just came available recently... initially the stupid webform was the only way to get the upgrade.

Yep, that’s why you’re denied, you need the ps5 digital edition, you’re not eligible. They should have just told you that instead of a generic deny.
 
Managed to get approved on the 4th try. I really wonder if it was because they hadn't added the PS store region in the webform when I first submitted, because the docs I put in the entire time were pretty much the same.

If you qualify: physical copy with a digital console keep on submitting!
