(Xbone, PS4) Cyberpunk 2077 $19.99 Best Buy *DEAD

Picked up the Xbox version as I hear it’s the best one to buy. Will not play it till it gets the next gen update. Into the backlog it goes lol.

There are three steel books right? I need one more, going to go instore and see if I can get one.

4 actually. Their listing only shows 3 of them.

Did the same thing since I doubt it will be any cheaper before the next gen version arrives. Might check it out on Series X when my copy arrives but I doubt I dive deep until the actual next gen version is here.

Man, I wish the PC version for this was this cheap.

This deal's probably a nice cheap score, for those who have a PS5 or XSS/XSX.

PS4 gamers - might want to cheap the latest Digital Foundry on this w/ Patch 1.23:

Yeah most def. I have the ps5 and xbxsx. Seems more and more cross platform games these days run better on box so getting more of them there unless I know of cool dual sense controller features.

The game may be shit but at least for 20 bucks I figure I'd get 60 or 70 hours of entertaining shit out of it and a nice steelbook as well.

I grabbed this to play on the PS5 recently, for 25/30$  and i didn't regret it one bit.  I think the game is pretty awesome, and really didn't encounter, that many bugs.  The ones i did notice, weren't anything significant.   I'd say if you have a next gen system, this is probably one of the best buys you'll have for a while.

Playing on a PS5 merely reduces the bugs, but it doesnt magically improve the flawed and inadequate gameplay mechanics.

Anybody that’s played a Bethesda game at launch will be truly bewildered by all the hate this game got. I put about 60 hours into it getting the platinum trophy. Had a good time, zero regrets.

I really don't get the hate this game got. Then again, I only ever played it on my series X.
It's poorly optimized which is borderline unplayable on last gen machines and most people are sheep and just jump on the bandwagon after it's bugs became a social media meme.

It's too bad really, the game is fantastic if you play on a high end PC or Series X.

Series x would run like Xbox one x at the moment. Sadly not a true next gen game yet…personally can’t wait for it via smart delivery. I think it’s funny this game was hyped up as the best way to play being xbone1x and it was delivered totally broken. I hear it won’t even run on a regular xbone.

Yeah, it's embarrassing how poorly it runs on regular Xbox One.

It runs better on the series x. On the 1x driving is awful and frequently stutters but on the series x I haven't noticed any slowdown. It'll be nice when they do a real next Gen patch/upgrade. I almost want to wait it out to play more but who knows how long it'll take

This. This is exactly what I said when it came out. TES and Fallout are beloved series that were almost unplayable for tons of people. I played cyberpunk from launch, had multiple save files throughout, and in spite of having to manually reload my saves a handful of times I was able to complete the game and get all the xbox achievements.

I think the problems were exacerbated by:

1. The bar was set by the witcher 3.
2. The story/characters needed work.
3. Everyone is a semi professional blogger/streamer and we are in a time where commentating about games is the entertainment more than playing the games.

Really the game wasn't that bad. If they do some expansions like they did with the witcher I will absolutely do a 3rd playthrough.

I will be waiting for the next gen upgrade and then the patch after that to fix what it broke. ;)
