SAMSUNG 49-inch Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor $999.99 at Amazon

After recently getting a 34 inch curved monitor for my office, I absolutely want this instead, sadly I don't have $1k to burn on a monitor.

I can re-arrange my desk and fit this, right? Right?

I have three monitors already and I'm still tempted by this. 

I have one of these (CHG-90 the 144mhz model) its everything you want it to be and more. $1k for a 240mhz monitor of this size and quality is a great price. 

Buyer beware, its only on sale because they made a newer model. 

If anyone wants input before they purchase hit me up. I've been using mine for about 3 years and spend a majority of my time PC gaming. 

The resolution is 32:9 and you do lose vertical view in some applications compared to you standard x1440 res so it does look shorter but marginally. The biggest impact is on some resolution locked fmv (halo infinite multiplayer where the squad intro is shown as example) cuts off heads of people. Same happens in various loading or splash screens that arent adaptive resolutions.

Meanwhile I just want an awesome 3:4 monitor for vertical shmups. And for vertical shmups for the home market to support a 3:4 monitor aspect ratio.
