Burlington Stores carrying game accessories and video games

CAGiversary!
I was searching for a related topic but the only result was from 7 years ago. Yesterday, I went to the Burlington Coat Factory store to look for some clothing items for my son and daughter. Upon finding the necessary items and while standing in the checkout line there was a display section of video games and accessories on the pegs. I managed to buy three controllers but there were other noticeable items as well.

  • Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (PS4)     $12.99
  • FUSION by PowerA Wired FightPad (PS4)     $16.99
  • PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller - Animal Crossing (Nintendo Switch)     $14.99
  • PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller - Hylian Shield (Nintendo Switch)     $14.99

How are these controllers?

Probably everntually get a wired Switch controller to ease up on using a Joycon's stick usage.

Fightpad looks interesting, leaning more towards the Retro-bit Sega Genesis USB controller.  More for the nostalgia.  That breakaway style of cable makes me want to turn that Fightpad into a wireless controller somehow.

For those interested: A more detailed information of the FUSION Wired FightPad controller for PlayStation 4 can be found here.

I have both a PS4 and an Xbox PowerA fightpad. For that price it's a steal, I may go see if my store has some to use as a backup.

It's pretty much a clone of the Saturn pad, but it's a bit bigger. It's not quite as nice, but it's still a really solid controller, and pretty comfortable in the hands. I'd easily pick it over most PS4/Xbox native fightpads like the Hori. On other setups with more controller options like the Switch, PC, or an emubox I'd use one of the Retrobit Saturn or Genesis clone controllers instead.

Burlington coat factory makes Walmart on black Friday look respectable. Not enough deals in the world to get me to go in there

Swung by and saw the PowerA Fight Pad for Switch as well. Also the Doom wireless controller ($24.99) for Switch.

The place was largely a wreck and there were a lot of people so I left. A little salty I paid $50 or so for my Xbox and PlayStation fight pads, though.

Spotted a PowerA Fusion wireless arcade stick for the Switch for $80 at the South Philly store (it was at the checkout line with the rest of the gaming hardware).

Found a BUNCH of the Switch and PS4 fusion fightpads at my local Burlington. Thanks for the tip, I'd been interested in these but not for $60 a pop. $16 is just the right price and I honestly might go back to double dip on both consoles.
