Good show, loved hearing the talkback on the athletic competition talk from last week!

Regarding League of Superpets, @ship I think you and your family will really like the movie (as will @wombat). It's one of the better kids movies of this year, and that's saying something. Much better than the trailer would indicate.

The game has I guess minor spoilers from the beginning in that you see what powers the pets end up with. But it's not anything that would bother a kid's enjoyment of the movie. It's a pretty basic on-rails shooter with an upgrade point and pet adoption system which make it a bit more interesting than most kid's games.

Difficulty is higher than, say, Paw Patrol, which isn't saying a lot. You do need to use dodge during boss fights, which some kids may have problems with.

My 7 year old is enjoying it, she hands me the controller for boss fights.

On the grown-up games side, I'm pleasantly surprised with Assassin's Creed FINALLY hitting medieval Japan which is what literally every AC fan has been asking for for goddamn ever.

I've been waiting 10 years for Pikmin 4.  That's far more interesting to me than Breath of the Wild 2.

I feel the exact opposite of Wombat and Cheapy on God of War.  I found the original GoW and GoW2 pretty serviceable if not overrated games.  The new God of War though was a revelation and probably up for best game of last gen.  Just phenomenal from start to finish.
