Update:  We believe that, unknown to us, the original family group's nso plan was extended and the following plan will not be happening at the present time.

The is a pending reformation of an existing cag group that has lasted 1 year.
This is the highest tier NSO + Expansion Pack family membership
0-1 slot is currently expected to be open.
The group is likely to be created between 10/23 and 10/31

Payment will be $10 paypal upfront for one slot lasting 1 year from the date the group is created.
North America eshop accounts only
US paypal accounts "sending to a friend" only

I'm adding people at my discretion, please pm me if interested. Please have established positive feedback on cag.

I guess so, but it seems unlikely enough at this point to make other plans.  I pm'd him over 2 weeks ago.

Once the sub ends I will leave the fam group and create the new one.

Makes sense. I sent him a message on Sept 27th and then again 2 days ago with no response. It's good to know we should have others to make a new group with. I paid him $10 eshop but I don't have a problem with giving you PP instead.

 
Just so everyone knows, I figure we should ride out the existing sub. I plan to create the new family group as soon as it does and will send payment info then. I expect that to be under 48hrs from now.  I will create it even if 1-2 slots are unclaimed at the time.

I tried to PM you but it wouldn't let me. I am going on a road trip and am not sure if I will have always have service. I would rather just pay you the PP $10 now so you don't think I flaked. What's your PP email?

 
So just to update everyone, we're still waiting for last year's sub to expire from the previous family group. None of us can see exact dates. But it should be any day now. If you're one of those waiting, I appreciate your patience.

Just thought I should follow through with another update.  The old family group has yet to lose NSO service - which is pretty unexpected - and we're still waiting on that.  If we make it to 11/1 with active service, we'll have to reevaluate the plan.  Thanks to everyone still hanging in there.

 
Update:  
The unexpected explanation that most in the family group has acknowledged is that the original host somehow both completely fell out of touch and auto-renewed the plan.

As a result, the members of the group do not have a present need to move to a new family group and the process I laid out in the OP will not be happening - for now, at least.

First, I apologize to and thank the cags who have patiently waited.  Second, one thing I can do is provide a list of people outside the existing family group that showed interest.  If anyone wants to host, I imagine many, possibly all, of the slots can be filled if the following cags are still onboard:
