dying light full edition was on sale on psn for 10, so id wait for that to be on sale again. i think the full complete edition has dlc that the following enhanced edition does not.

All had the original case with cover art except Lost Judgment. Local GameStop had an original case, so I was able to swap this out.
 
Decided to do the GS dance like I did for PS3 B2G1/2 years ago. Have not had any luck with GS used online with cases so did a big loop here in Vegas and hit 9 stores.

Half of the stores didn't have any signage, the other half did and pulled some of the games for the front island. The stores that did were on the other side of the ones that didn't so I suspect that it was DM related.

This sale is a pain in the fucking ass now that they've intermixed new, used and clearance. A friend of mine said, of course, in the next few weeks, they'll be splitting them back up.

In general, at B&M, it will be difficult to piece together a lot of 4 under $10 games if you have any sort of PS4/Xbone/Switch collection. Also, the savings are a lot slimmer - a bunch of $6/$7 games so why bother. I did not see many sub $20 Switch games at all. 4 for $40 is doable but I put back 3 games twice at different stores because I could not find a 4th game that looked even remotely interesting. 

Large image and I'm tired, but here's what I got. 4 x 4/$40 plus one $10 normal priced games (Eagle Flight VR). 

Tempted to hit online for more but I know they will just pull the same loose discs/carts that I turned down today.

Does anyone have a clue as to when this will end?  (Guess I'll be able to check the website in 8-10 hours and find out if it continues through next week!)

Also, do clearance titles count in this deal?

Well, I got my first game. Street Fighter x Tekken 360. No art. Disc looks like shit. Haven't fired it up yet, but I'm 50/50 on this going back.

 
Did a 4 for $20 and 4 for $40 with a mix of consoles:

  • The Xbox Series & PS5 games were complete
  • Almost all the Xbox One games were disc only
  • The one Switch game looked like the art was in a bathtub
  • The one Xbox 360 game looked beat down disc wise (but had cover art, no manual)
Does anybody know if it's worth asking B&M stores if they'll trade out cover art? I wouldn't mind giving them business if they'd do that, although like others said, probably hard to do this at a B&M store (finding 4 in either category that are complete).

Never hurts to ask. Some employees are fine with it, but some have turned me down. It helps to ask a store where you are a regular. I do most of my GS business at this store and they have helped me out a lot with things like this.

Ugh, I so fucking hate that my regular store was closed... used to be an older dude that worked there and was super chill with me and would always help me find/ship in rarer games at other stores. The two closest stores to me now have these really young kids working there that aren't as willing to go out of their way (they're perfectly nice and all though).

 
Received 12 of the 16 I ordered and all came with proper cases and cover art except Crash 4 came disc only. Little upsetting since that's the game I wanted most that I ordered but for $10 I'll live.

I believe it's just a sequel. Rev 2 on the other hand is just an expansion of Revelator.

I could be wrong and they're all expansion of Sign with added story.

Guilty Gear Xrd is the framework, and Sign is its first iteration. Rev, and then later Rev 2, are updates to that framework.

There is a small reason to also own Sign: it has its own story mode (part of the series continuing storyline), which is not included in Rev or Rev 2 (they have their own next part of the story).

However, Rev 2 is basically strictly superior to Rev, so there's not much point to owning Rev if you have Rev 2.

TL;DR - Sign + Rev 2 will get you content complete, or just Rev 2 if you don't care about story.

I'm jealous of everyone getting Complete games. Ordered 4 games, and all 4 were replacement cases with no cover art.

The PS5 ones shocked me the most but I returned the first 3. My local GameStop had replacement artwork so I took that since I have extra Switch cases at home.

This might have been the highest rate of CIB games I ever got with GS... did a total of 24 games over 5 different orders, and only 4 came in generic cases. Two highlights were prob a perfect condition, fully complete FFXII Zodiac Age steelbook edition and DOA 5 PS4 with the manual (most of the other games were the non-manual games).

Now... this is as opposed to two new games I ordered... one was gutted but actually looked new, and the 2nd one was also gutted and the back of the case was gashed in.

Thank God this sale is finally over, I've got boxes stacked to the ceiling and my wallet really couldn't take much more.

I was so used to the sale still being on I bought a bunch of games this morning at full price thinking they were half price.  Good thing I remembered in time to cancel.

I also ordered last day. I never got an email saying it was shipped. My order didn’t even show up on my account lol. But it was delivered today

I made an order on 1/27 and had two packages from the order delivered, but I wasn't notified that they shipped and tracking was never sent to me for either of them. Only problem is one of the packages that arrived came empty so I'm waiting to see if there's another package left to arrive from the order before trying to contact GameStop.

 
Same here with lack of shipment info from a weekend order.  Already received 1 of the 8. Looks like their systems are messed up in a new way now that they fixed the prices shown on packing slips.

Thanks I was wondering why I didn't receive any email shipment notification. The GS app also doesn't show my order as shipped/tracking info yet.

They definitely have not fixed prices shown on the packing receipts still as I get plenty of them with the non promo prices. All my 4 for 40 titles still said their original before promo prices.

I just received my delivery today and yesterday for the games ordered. It was from a store order, by the look of the invoice. I rarely get any packages from their warehouse anymore.

All games were discounted with the reflected promo on the invoice. I had to return one game since it was a generic casing, they didn't give me any issues about it.
