This Runeword can only be created by players who are currently on a Ladder character during Ladder Season 3, or in Offline Single-Player mode. Completed Ladder Runeword items can be moved with the player to regular play at the conclusion of the Ladder, but new ones cannot be created in non-Ladder online games.

If you attempt create this Runeword on non-Ladder online character, it will simply be a collection of Runes without the special Runeword properties. Don't waste your Runes!

Quick Facts about Hearth

Type: Helm

Armor Base Needed: All Helms, including Barbarian Helms and Druid Pelts

Number of Sockets: 3

Required Runes: Shael, Io, Thul

Overview of the Hearth Runeword

Hearth is one of five new mid-level Helm runewords offering 20% Faster Hit Recovery (from Shael) and +10 to Vitality (from Io). Thul offers +30% Cold Resistance; Hearth adds an additional 10-30% Cold Resistance.

It also adds 10-15% Cold Absorb. This means that when you or your mercenary get hit by a Cold attack, a portion of that attack after Cold Resistance has been applied will be returned as direct healing, to a maximum of 40% Cold Absorb.

Cannot Be Frozen is also a very good property to have at any level; the Wisdom helm runeword also has it, but that is not available until level 45.

The Hearth Runeword also offers an increase to maximum life, making it especially good for players or Mercenaries struggling with survivability.

Hearth Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths of the Hearth Runeword:

Can be very good for certain bosses that use Cold attacks, such as Duriel, Diablo, Baal, and Izual.

Easily-farmed runes accessible by early Nightmare

Decent additions to defense and maximum Life to help with overall survivability, particularly for Mercenaries.

Cold Absorb is an unusual property only found in a handful of Unique items, at ten levels below the next lowest Cold Absorb item (the Ravenfrost ring at 45).

Weaknesses of the Hearth Runeword:

Cold attacks are not as deadly as other types, and Cold Resistance itself is not uncommon.

A strong mid-game contender for not a lot of investment, but won't have staying power.

Quick Facts about Metamorphosis

Type: Helm

Armor Base Needed: Helm, Druid Pelt

Number of Sockets: 3

Required Runes: Io Cham Fal

Overview of the Metamorphosis Runeword

Metamorphosis is a Druid helm aimed at Shapeshifter druids. While Blizzard clearly wanted to encourage players to switch between the two main forms (Wolf and Bear), for all practical purposes, this Runeword supports fighting primarily as a Wolf and using the Bear form as a temporary buff.

By switching between Bear and Wolf within the allotted 180-second durations, Druids can have major buffs that improve both their survivability and DPS output through major bonuses to attack speed, attack rating, maximum life, and reduction in Physical damage. Outside of the buffs, it also offers Crushing Blow, as well as some not-terribly-impressive stat bonuses. Cannot Be Frozen is nice but there are usually more than enough ways to get this on other items.

Metamorphosis Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths of the Metamorphosis Runeword:

Great AoE damage as a Werewolf with Werebear durability

High novelty factor

Great synergy with the Bone Break Sundered charm.

Flexible gear choices.

Can be built on a Druid Pelt base.

Weaknesses of the Metamorphosis Runeword:

Requires Bone Break or another solution such as Reaper's Toll to break Physical immunity.

Auras for the two Marks are not visually distinctive enough; can be easy to lose track when buffs wear off (particularly if you are using the recommended Heart of the Wolverine Spirit).

Shifts between Wolf and Bear forms are slow, since they have to go through the Human form between, which can leave a Druid vulnerable.

Hotkey set can get unwieldy and complex.

The Hustle Runeword is just one of nearly 100 Runewords in Diablo II: Resurrected. These allow you to combine Normal-quality socketed gear with Runes to create amazing items for leveling, farming, and end-game play.

Quick Facts about Hustle

Type: Armor

Armor Base Needed: All Body Armor

Number of Sockets: 3

Required Runes: Shael Ko Eld

Overview of the Hustle Runeword

Hustle is an excellent melee/ranged focused body armor with a huge 40% Increased Attack Speed and +20 Faster Hit Recovery, with some other nice features to go along with it.

Strengths of the Hustle Runeword:

Increase Attack Speed is a very rare trait for armor of any kind; only one other armor Runeword has it.

Fastest Run/Walk of any single item in game

Nice supporting cast of features

Weaknesses of the Hustle Runeword:

Not itemized well for a caster

No enhanced defense

Not that useful for Mercenaries

Assassins have a better option in just a few levels

Better Runeword armor options later will limit this armor's staying power

Hustle as an Armor runeword has the single highest Run/Walk of any single item in game -- even Enigma only has 45%. If moving quickly through content is a high priority for you, definitely give this one a closer look.

Unfortunately, while casters would love this feature (as well as the 50% slower Stamina drain), the other features just aren't as great. The 40% IAS and 20% FHR are both fantastic for melee characters and Bowazons, they just don't have much to offer casters. The FHR on this armor is good but unremarkable for its level; there's a lot of armor in this bracket with this exact percentage.Because of the lack of increased defense, it's not the best choice for Mercenary armor.

The Hustle Weapon Runeword is just one of nearly 100 Runewords in Diablo II: Resurrected. These allow you to combine Normal-quality socketed gear with Runes to create amazing items for leveling, farming, and end-game play.

Quick Facts about Hustle

Type: Weapon (Any)

Number of Sockets: 3

Required Runes: Shael Ko Eld

Strengths of the Hustle Runeword

Excellent bonuses to Attack Speed through three vectors

Fanaticism is a rare emanate, especially on a relatively inexpensive Runeword

Higher Attack Speed than any other melee weapon Runewords

3-socket Weapons are usually very easy to find

Weaknesses of the Hustle Runeword:

Weak for casters

May not be best choice for Bowazons given the alternative

Mosaic is a Claw-based Runeword that is clearly aimed at Martial Arts Assassins. With extensive class changes made to improve the Martial Arts Assassin, Phoenix Dragon Talon is now S-tier, in no small part to Mosaic.

If you are looking for D2R Ladder Items, Runewords, Unique Items, Set Items, just Google search Aoeah and check it out, use code FORUM for discount!

Strengths of the Mosaic Runeword

Chance for finishing moves not to consume charges is doubled when dual wielding (100% chance)

Excellent support traits such as bonus skills, enhanced damage, attack rating, and a range of elemental improvements

Makes other martial arts claws in its level range obsolete

Will have excellent staying power for Martial Arts builds

Weaknesses of the Mosaic Runeword

3 socket requirement places some limits on base item choices (no War Fist or Battle Cestus)

Not a good choice for Trapsins
