Tade in NCAA06 get madden 20$ at gamestop.

I guess it would be ok by the time 360 came out. Right now it would be a ridiculous deal however since NCAA 06 isnt even out yet.

This will only be a deal if you can somehow get NCAA for less than $30 between the time it comes out and the time you want Madden. Even if EB puts up used copies of NCAA to buy, that will still be tough to do.

actually its not bad if you want to get madden. Normally madden is 50 bucks, so if u get ncaa for 50, technically your playing it for a month then getting 30 for it, so your basically getting madden for 20 bucks and if you, which basically makes NCAA free and madden 50 bucks

if only that wasnt broken english I could understand your half assed sentences. Using your logic, madden would cost 70 dollars if u use this deal.

listen...your playing ncaa for a month, that would cost more than 20 in rentals.

50=original price
-
30=trade in value
------------
Madden is 50, subtract 30, it only costs 20...i understand what your saying that ncaa cost 50 so your paying 50+20 which makes 70, but keep in mind that you were playing NCAA for a month, so techinically its like NCAA was a free month rental and Madden was 50

You're incoherent. If you are paying $70 total, then NCAA is not free month rental. It's a paid month rental, since you're paying them $20 to rent NCAA.

How about I just rent NCAA for 2 weeks from Blockbuster for like 6 bucks. 2 rentals of that will cost 12. Then I buy Madden for 50. Saves me at least8 bucks according to what I'm understanding to what you are trying to say.
i dunno if it's just me, but... i think thats kind of a stupid deal
It's not just you

You could think of it as renting NCAA for $20 while you wait for Madden. Or judging by the intelligence of the regular EB/casual gamer/sports customer, they'll probably think "OHHHH MADDEN ONLY $20!! GIMME NCAA!!!"

It's a crime EA charges $50 for these roster updates every year and yet they still sell a gazillion copies. I do enjoy both NCAA and Madden though, but usually get them used and about every other year.

o well, my bad...anybody know if astroboy is valid for the trade in deal towards these games because its free with the best buy 5 off coupon, it came out less than a year ago

It's a crime that so many clueless gamers think these games are nothing but roster updates, just because they don't have new graphics engines every year. I guess EA could go the SEGA/VC route and throw in some collectable bean bag chairs, or let you play against Dee Snider, John Stamos, and other G list celebrities.

Actually..they do have collectables this year ;)

Kinda ripped off Sega's Crib theme.

think of it this way, it allows those who aren't interested in keeping NCAA 06 to do Race for the Heisman with their player and then import him to Madden. i want to keep NCAA 06 so i definitely won't be taking advantage of the deal.

You may be right in implying that there are lots of changes from year to year, but there certainly isn't $50 worth. EA should definitely offer upgrade pricing.

Why is it that only non Madden gamers bitch about "only roster updates", while Madden gamers don't care and know it is more then roster updates?

Don't bitch about a game that you don't buy. END of story. I don't bitch about the GTA3 games only having a few updates because I don't like or play them. I have been a Madden gamer since Madden '92 and only a few Madden games didn't live up to the name imo. ('96, '99, '03)
