That would be the shit! I hope they put it in every doctor office around the country ;)
 
Just imagine a parent coming into EB with a prescription for DDR. I wonder if health insurance would cover that?

I wouldn't be surprised to see some health insurance companies give a slight contribution for the game/mats like they do for the purchase of exercise equipment. However, much like the purchase of exercise equipment/gym memberships, there would probably be restrictions on who it can be purchased from, brand of mats, etc.

I'd love to write of the 2 Ignition Pad/Max2 package I just picked up during the tail end of last week. And I won't mention the price I paid either, but it was far removed from my normal purchasing habits.

Skee Ball
Baseball/Soccer simulators
Basketball hoops
Air Hockey (if played right)

You could have a card like Gameworks, credits et all, but with a calorie counter givin by each game.

Actually better yet would be to charge a semi-exorbenant monthly membership fee (a little higher than standard gyms), and leave it all on free play. The biggest problem I would forsee would be the noise from rows and rows of DDR machines.

Call the place a "Digital Gym" and franchise it out.
 
THERE IS A GYM THAT JUST OPENED UP IN THE AREA AND THE GUYS ARE EX TRANERS. I BET IF I SHOWED THEM THE AMOUNT OF RESEARCH AND BENEFITS FROM THE GAME THEY'LL INVEST IN IT. SWET! IM ALL EXCITED. IM GONNA TRY AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. ILL REPLY AGAIN WITH AN UPDATE.
