As the days of nokia-snake passed and the technology of cell phones increased I became interested to see what games could be offered for my mobile unit.

The most use of the games occur, when Im in the long lines at school, or sitting at work waiting for a ghost image to finish. Even when im making brownies these games help the time pass. (Yes I wash my hands before and after) So now on to the reviews.

Currently using a Motorola v600, v300 series..and have read that these games will work on many different phones that support java apps JAR/JAD files.

I personally use a phone-usb connection or bluetooth to download the games. For those interested info for downloading the games, and the games themselves can be found quite easilly. Don't ask me how, and for those that need a cable for transfers go ebay instead of paying 10x the price at your local service provider.

Rating 1-poor, 5 avg, 10-Best

1. Lord of the Rings (Two towers)
This game is a turn based rpg that is similar to the shining force/fire emblem series, but is no where as good. In addition the rpg and somewhat length battle system is too time consuming IMO for a cell game. The most use of this game would be a long car ride, etc where one doesnt have a gameboy/psp etc nearby but wants to play a game. Graphics and funfactor are avg at best. (4)

2. Prince of Perisa (Classic)
This one plays very similar to the original prince of persia (not sands of time and more puzzles less action) the animation and quality is above average. The demo of this game comes with many motorola phones. (6.5)

3. T.H.U.G. (Tony Hawk underground)
I was hoping this game to play similar to the gba TH series of games, however this game seems to have some qualities of the series combined with the old school nes game T&C Surf Designs. This game is ok, but I only recommend to those who are a fan of the series. (4)

4. PuzzleBobble
I was excited when I first saw this, but unfortunately it is like a "Mini" version of the classic puzzle game that we all know and love. There are no real stages, but merely a progression of difficulty as the game progresses. The bubbles will keep growing faster and faster as you pop more and more. Also this game runs a little slow on my phone, but may run faster than others. (6.5)

5. SexyPoker 2004
This game actually passed my expectations. At first I believed this to probably be a cheesy mild T&A game. And although I still believe this opinion to be pretty acurate. The quality and depth is someone decent for a cell game. Your a photographer/director or something who is searching for girls to take part in some job excuse to get them naked. Its essentially strip poker, but little storyline and comments make this a pretty decent title. (7.5)

6. Prince of Persia (Sands of Time)
One of the first really decent cell games imo. This game has a good combination of graphics and control and fun in comparision to the current gen of cell games. The story is only loosly based on the original title, and the prince only makes comments before/after each level about the story. So don't expect much more than that for depth. The game is somewhat short, but has a ranking system for those who are into "that" kind of thing. (8)

7. Chicks with Bricks
Essentially breakout or whatever those games are called, the ones with a pong like paddled that hits a ball to bust various brick formations. Underneath these bricks lies low quality pictures of your favorite oscar winning adult film stars like Tabitha Stevens, etc. To uncover these pictures you can pick up some power ups along the way. This game is sort of boring, but may be interesting to those without access to the real thing or the internet..etc. Normally I would give this a 5, but having this game on the phone may affect one's image with the ladies. So overall (4)

8. Splinter Cell (Pandora tomorrow)
A very good 2d adaption of one of today's more popular series. The stealth/action gameplay is implemented very well. The story which also serves as a guide to the controls adds a decent amount of depth, and sam has a variety of abilities such as the ingle-wood jack, or popping some silenced caps in the unsuspecting baddies. Fans of series or those who liked the nes metal gear game will really enjoy this.

A decent amount of lvls which adds a good length to this game, but each one can be finished in a few minutes for those who just need to waste a small amount of time. (9)

9. Splinter Cell (Chaos Theory)
I have not played this that much, as I obtained the french version of this game. So far it appears to be at least as good as Pandora tomorrow with better graphics and more abilities for Sam. Im predicting at least a (9)

10. Prince of Persia (Warrior Within)
Much like the sequal to Splinter cell, this game has a good amount of improvements over the prior games. This one also has more of a storyline, although a little different than the console version of POP WW. The animation is even better than POP SOT and there are special attack moves in addition the wall running, rolling, climbing abilities of our sexy dashing handsome prince...haha jking. So I am currently going to give this game a 10 as imo its about the best we can get on our mobile units.

11. Might and Magic
This is one of the classic series of rpg'ish type games, which I really have not played in the past. After waiting for the rain to clear today, I gave it a shot. It's a fairly solid action rpg. Cut/story scenes throughout the game and some decent music (when it plays.) Way better than Two Towers, definetely give it a shot if you can. (8.5)
