Cheap TI-83 Plus?

I'd rather pay the cash for a new one since I'd be losing quite a few games to even out a trade for the calculator. Thanks for the offer.

Some people in my school steal them straight from the school's collection. Since we have some Calculus classes, they provide the calculators for us and of course people are going to take them and sell them. Usually they go for $25 without the booklet, but you probably won't be able to find someone who will be able to do that.
I finally broke down and bought one for my stat class a year ago. No deals on these shaq-fuing things. it sucks.
I agree.

Best bet for you is to check Ebay or wait to see if there's an add where the price is slightly reduced.

Getting lucky can work...my mom found me a TI-85 at a garage sale. The man wanted a dollar for it...so that's what we paid. Not quite as good as my NES find, but still very nice. :D

I don't know what to tell you, though...if you want new, you're screwed. Your best bet may be to begin looking for coupons for office stores - stores like Staples and Office Max sell them, and if you can find something like free shipping or $10 off, that's something...right?
if u only need it to do homework, and don't need it in class, u might want to get the TI-83+ emulator
please provide a link for this! I would love to be able to run it on a compaq pocket pc.

I got my 83 a couple years ago but I just recently bought a 89 which I would recommend you get instead if you are going to take calculus or differential equations. The 89 can do integrals and a lot more so it cuts down on the time to work out problems.

You might find a good deal if you wait a bit. They're always go on sale in August before school start. I got one for $80 two years ago.
