Grounded for life and rude awakening. Rude awakening is one of my all time favorite shows, starring sherilyn fenn as a struggling alcoholic. Wicked funny. I only taped like 5 episodes though, and have got about 6 or 7 more from emmy consideration tapes I bought off ebay. I've tried trying to find more, but no one seems to be selling them (other than the pre-recorded emmy tapes) on any tv show message boards or anything.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2002)

He-Man & the MOTU (2002) will be released along with the classic series sometime in the near future.

Batman (60's)
Six Million Dollar Man
The Bionic Woman

Six Million and Bionic Woman DVD sets are in the works. Batman will likely never be released due to rights issues.

The Wonder Years

This will likely never be released on DVD. If it is, expect 90% of the music to be changed. It's too costly to release this series on DVD since it used a lot of classic/popular music.

Thunder In Paradise

Yes the show with Hulk Hogan, and Curt Lemmon. Me, and my dad were regular watchers of the show, and I loved it. I would gladly pay good money to get it on DVD

I remember this series. It was actually pretty decent. I'd like to see it on DVD.

Brisco County Jr
The State
The Flash
and Parker Lewis Cant Lose

I've never seen Brisco County, but I know dozens of people that swear by it. I'd have to check it out if it came out on DVD.

I still haven't seen my DVDs of The State, but I'm sure that it's awesome. With all the talented people in it, how can it not be? Anyway, at least they are working on getting this out, and aren't doing a half-assed job. They said they won't release it until they get all the rights to all the music in the show.

By "The Flash," do you mean the comic adaptation that was on CBS in the early nineties. I remember that show; it was pretty good. "If you ever need me... I'll be there in a flash."

Parker Lewis... I remember watching that when they showed it on USA. Wasn't it originally on Fox?

twilight zone (in a reasonable set, not 80 volumes)

What, the 5 Definitive Edition Season Sets that are slowly coming out aren't good enough?

thunder cats
he man and the masters of the universe

Those are slowly coming out as well. Thundercats just started coming out (Although there are some issues with the set). He-Man season sets are coming starting in Oct.

I agree with a lot of your other picks, though... Gotta love my shiny new X-Men season 1 disc, though. :)

Happy to spread the word. Twilight Zone is probably the greatest TV show of all time, so the more people that can pick these up, the better. The first season even comes with a shrunk down version of "The Twilight Zone Companion".

Never seen that website before. Thanks. Some of the prices are outrageous, though, especially for things so recent that will be released on DVD ($80 for Desperate Housewives Season 1?! Come on!). Still, it's cool that there are people out there who have collected classic TV series for other TV lovers.

I agree with a lot of your other picks, though... Gotta love my shiny new X-Men season 1 disc, though. :)

X-Men Season 1? Which X-Men, the animated series from the early 90s? Did you happen to obtain this disc from a certain website named after an organ located near the stomach? A friend of mine gave me that disc and it's pretty kickass.

I want Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude!. And Welcome Freshmen. I miss those shows.
I saw something promising at Hot Topic the other day while looking for the Death Jr figures though, Hey Dude logo and Camp Anawana t-shirts, with the Nick Rewind logo on the tags... could this be a good sign? I hope so.

Welcome freshman, you made me think of that show for the first time in, at least, 5 years.

Supposedly Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts DVDs are in the works, but there is no release date set for them. It looks like they are concentrating more on the Clarissa and Pete & Pete sets that they have started.

That would be the exact disc I'm talking about. :)

F Troop
wacky races
johnny quest (60's)
sgt. bilko
hogans heroes (is this out?)

All of these came out on DVD as well. Although, of these, I believe only Wacky Races has been completely released. The others only have only season 1 out, or a "Best Of" collection.

Batman (60's)
Six Million Dollar Man
The Bionic Woman

Here here for Batman. I've been dying for that since they did such a great job with the 1966 movie on DVD.

Yeah the new definitive edition DVDs are awesome - When I heard they were first coming out I dumped the old sets on eBay and have bought all of the new ones as they came out and it is totally worth it.

I'd love to see an actual season-by-season release of SNL. Also Unsolved Mysteries.

MTV's Oddities Presents The Head, but only season 1, season 2, or what I saw of it, wasn't that good.

"It's Your Move" - that was jason Bateman's spin-off from silver spoons. You can say he was the original parker lewis.

"Batman Beyond"

wacky races

Actually, you can get the whole Wacky Races series for under $30, I bought this the day it came out (kinda regret it though, I remembered it being much better than it is).

yeah i agree some of those prices are insane, but all things considered (as long as the quality is good) the batman set is fairly reasonable since there are close to 200 episodes anyways.

and yes thats the website ^^ season 2's expected release date is actully sept 1st, i dont think it will be that soon but the guy scripting the dvd does, so im just going by what i hear ^^ expect all 5 seasons by years end ^^

i thought i saw hogan's box sets but wasnt sure (and was too lazy to look ^^)the thing that bugs me about how old shows are released is often they just do the first season to test the waters and sometimes stop, that bugs the hell out of me!! SOMEHOW (thankfully) green acres got its 2nd season out! (now just 6 more to go...wishful thinking ^^)

ill look into those series' and see whats around, especially the wacky races one, i love that show!

"i love you son, but if you ever do that again, im gunna give yu the taste of an axe handle.."

Yeah, Batman had a ridiculous amount of episodes. It would be a chore to get those on DVD.

That guy did an excellent job on the X-Men Season 1 DVD. Lots of great info, and the quality of the episodes was pretty good.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but Salute Your Shorts should be put on DVD.
