wow after playing metal gear, mission impossible and all those spy, stealth action titles out there this game feels so rushed.
Gameplay: Lies more heavily on steath compared to action, so you lean against back a wall and you automatically become stealth comouflage and none of the guards can see you wtf? What is cool is you actually get to take pictures of your enemy depending on how you zoom in you can capture both the camaflouge data and face. After you can go into a locker and change into that constume to get past certain points. What is stupid about the A.l. is that at times they open fire to you on danger mode after you go change into a locker right in front of their face, they will suspect your ok to go. Theres danger mode, then the enemy searches, goes into caution mode and clear kind of like the typpical metal gear solid game. The frame rate also seems to slow down when there are many enemies firing at your. There are 9 chapters btw each will take you 45-1 hr at least it did for my first time through.
Controls: Basic metal gear and SC actions press punch 3 times and your character does a punch punch kick combo. Go behind your enemy undected and you'll choke him and he'll get knocked out! Pressure sensitive is also into this when you go into first person with R1 then Square for your gun, depending on how fast you release the shoot button you will either shoot or put your gun back in ready mode. Theres a menu of your basic tools guns, gadgets, medics, and event items kind of like metal gear, press O in the menu will alow you to use the item.
Graphics: A few nice cut scenes here and there. There are a few glitches where the light source would cast the characters shadow onto the opposite side of the wall that the character was crouching behind.
Story: Your going after a terrorist leader who creates this biological weapon with the ability to kill the person kind of like a gas bomb with no cure or antidote to it. You won't be confused anywhere near MGS. Yea I know sounds lame but...
Sound: Nothing special hear the enemy will be able to hear your foot steps over magzines, water depeing on how fast you walk up to them. Music also speeds up when your in danger mode and your heart beats when the enemy checks up on you in disguise mode.
I usually don't review games but yea if your tired of Metal Gear, splinter cell or those other stealth action games you can give this a try. Not bad for 10 bucks at TRU 50% sale.
