Xenogears:

$20 for a new copy of Xenogears, better than the used copies that go for $35.

Vagrant Story

I've had a hard time finding this one....

Great game, $20 brand-spanking new.

Final Fantasy VII

For some reason I've had a hard time finding a copy of this around my house, it's $15 on the Kmart site.

They also have some other select PS1 games, but I didn't find anything that caught my eye.

**Update** I checked out the Walmart site, they have Chrono Cross for 15, FFVII for 15, Chronicles for 15, a much better deal, but I didn't check shipping costs on WM.**

I found Final Fantasy Chronicles on walmart's site for $14.99 with $2 shipping as the cheapest. They also have the guide for $9.37.

OP, you might want to mention that these are the GH (Greatest Hit) versions, not the originals (the originals are the ones that go for over $20).

Nevertheless, thanks for posting this. :)

EDIT: Pardon me for being uptight, I just want to inform potential buyers on the details. Welcome to the boards.
Anyone who has not played these games yet really should.
That would be me.

I have never played:
Chrono Trigger (well, I think I played it once for a few minutes)
Chrono Cross
Vagrant Story
Xenogears
Final Fantasy I, II, IV, V (see Chrono Trigger), VI

I'm trying to get them, but I prefer non GH versions (for collection reasons). But I'll get the GH version if I must.

Hmm, I didn't know Vagrant Story was re-released as a greatest hit too. I know a lot of people are usually looking for it, so $20 might be a nice price. The rest of them aren't that great of a deal at $20 unless you absolutely can't find the GH versions somewhere, but all the games are definitely worth the price.

wasn't one of those final fantasy collections not playable on ps2 for some reason? the one with chrono trigger on it I believe

Yeah, I haven't seen a Xenogears in store either, I ended up getting my copy for $35 dollars used at Gamecrazy :(

That's weird, I played both games in Chronicles and Anthologies on my PS2 just fine :whistle2:s Chronicles is GH though.

Anthologies gives you some trouble when you try to save your game. The save screen all the sudden goes bonkers. You have to exit out and keep trying it until it works.

I did have that problem!!

I always wondered what that was all about. My roommate never had that problem in his PS2 though

One more thing, the GH Chrono Cross has an extra song during the credit that's not in the regular version.

VAGRANT STORY, a great game that struck me as "resident evil:the medieval years". It was pretty easy to see who the main bad guy was..."whoa, check it out! that guy's a wizard, has a pet dragon, and is a CROSSDRESSER? He MUST be EVIL!!!!!" Lol, a creative story with a few very odd characters.
