Alll new N-Gage games now $6.99 online

About time. Looks like Requiem is out of stock, the only title im missing. Hope to grab it down the road.

Now is awesome time to pick up an n-gage, free with xmen legends 2 after contract, and games are ultra cheap, and theres still a few decent games coming down the road for it.
sunnuva bitch no KOF means no Ngage for me. Serious, id buy one just for KOF
I will trade u a copy of KOF still sealed, hit me a pm if your interested.

Thanks for the info. Grabbed Elderscrolls and KoF, but missed Asphalt. Anyone have word on how Requiem of Hell is?

Man I wish I was up earlier, missed Requiem aka the only game I really want to own outside of the newer releases, AGAIN. I almost picked up Bomberman but realized it was at one time $2.99.
So this might be lame, but where could I find a cheap N-Gage? And more importantly, would it be at all worth it?
An N-Gage is worth if you use for what it is: as a phone with multimedia and game features. If you're only getting it for the game component, you're probably better off investing in your GBA and/or PSP collection.

I use my N-Gage everyday, and I think it's great. I have a phone, MP3 player, and game system in one device, everywhere I go. If you want a phone that can also play games, you can't do better.

Technically, the cheapest way to get an N-Gage is to sign up for a calling plan. You can pretty much get new QD for free that way.

Otherwise, Gamestop sells the originals for $50 used if you can find one. Use the zip code search on their site to see if a local store has one.

Gamestop no longer takes them in for trade, so whatever supply they have won't be replenished. If you want one, don't hesitate.

Still some great games left: Worms, Splinter Cell: Chaos, X-Men Legends, and Colin McRae. Spider-Man 2 and Operation Shadow both blow.

Asphalt (OOS at the mo) is literally the only N-Gage game I don't own. If you have one and would trade it, PM me. I have a bunch of extras, so I'm sure we could make a deal. Thanks.

And if you haven't seen elswhere, Worms World Party and Splinter Cell: CT have dropped to $1.99.
Weird, Splinter Cell and Worms are back up to $6.99.
Welcome to EB Games, home of the temporary price drop. :D

I can confirm that this is good for B&M as well, at least for GameStop. All games and accessories there were marked down to $6.99, and that includes ones they don't have listed on the site, such as the bluetooth headset, marked down from $79.99 to $6.99, a rather absurd $73 markdown. The system itself was still $99.99 though.

NYC CAGs can find N-Gage games at the GameStop at Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn. Most other stores (esp in Manhattan it seems) have removed their N-Gage stock.

Grabbed X-Men Legends, The Roots, and Pocket Kingdom... Coupled with the cheap Xanadu Next I got off Ebay, I've got 4 of the 6 RPGs for the system now.

Speaking of RPGs, and this is a little off-topic, but: does anybody happen to know when X-Men Legends II & The Rifts are set to come out? I can't seem to find concrete release dates for either one... Also, is Hinter Wars getting a retail release?

Thanks in advance for any answers, and thanks for the heads-up D. Monic & franz ferdinand. :)

I know this sounds crazy, but did they have more of those bluetooth headsets?? I would love it if you could try and pick me up one if you would happen to be going there and I would pay you. Just send me a pm when you can.
i gotta call up eb about refunding $5 for both Worms and SC: CT since the price drop.
Don't bother. I already tried on Wednesday evening and the guy on the other end said "we don't price match our sale prices. sorry.".

Bullshit? Of course. Then again, I've done so much shit at EB Games over the past few years (all legal, but I use their 'system' against them) that I'm willing to let it slide. No biggie cryin' over a few bucks. Besides, I want these games anyway and $6.99 IMO, is already a great deal.

Too bad for them anyway, especially since they got their corporation bought out by (out of all companies) GameStop.

Worms and Splinter Cell are back at $1.99 at ebgames.com:

Edit: affiliate links don't seem to be doing to well on the new server. Please go in to eb from the link on the CAG front page to give CheapyD his due.

I wonder if this is going on in store or for pick up...if so Im buying everything I can. Even If i dont own an N-Gage

Well, it looks like the "50% off of the $6.99 prices" deal at the local GS B&Ms is DEAD.

I took advantage of the sale last week, thinking that 50% off the prices wouldn't be honored, but the clerks at the store I went to were the ones who told me about it.

Upon hearing the great news, I jumped on the chance and bought about 14 N-Gage games (all new, but some were the last copies, so they were opened) for $3.50 each. ^_^ (Total spent for the $3.50 games = About $52.00 with tax.)

I went to another GS B&M and found the last stock they had of the N-Gage QD carrying case, belt clip holster and car charging adaptor, all for $6.99 each. Even though I paid "full" for those items, I didn't mind, considering the fact that they're quite difficult to find.

BTW, if anyone has been keeping tabs on my previous posts, I returned the order of N-Gage titles I bought from EB Games.com directly at a B&M EB. Unfortunately, they wouldn't refund me the shipping costs (only $2.49), but I'm not complaining. I still got a great deal thanks to GameStop.

A big hearty handshake and props go out to the Original Poster: D. Monic.

Thanks for the great heads up, man.

You're very welcome. And many thanks to tenzor, who was the first to post that N-Gage games were dropping to $6.99 at B&M. I knew eventually the deal would show up online so I just kept checking. It took a few weeks, but it did eventually happen.

BTW, there's a few new demos for N-Gage games at N-Gage.com, including Rifts, Catan, and System Rush. Definitely worth checking out if you have a MMC for your N-Gage.

http://arena.n-gage.com/n-gage/web/en/play/downloads/downloads_games.jsp

Catan, High Seize, System Rush, One, X-Men Legends 2, and Atari Retro Volume 1 have all been released this month, with Rifts and High Mile Pinball due out soon. So the N-Gage remains an active platform, a trend that should continue in the future. Nokia is changing the N-Gage brand to refer more to a feature, rather than a specific system. So instead of releasing a new version of the N-Gage, we're going to see N-Gage compatibility built into many of their future phones. So with more N-Gage compatible devices out there, we should continue to see new games.

The bad news is that we'll have to buy them straight from Nokia for full price. I like paying $6.99 a whole lot better. :)
