    3. i had a um gameboy, it original ones, but mines was red not gray, wished it was. and my first game? DONKEY KONG COUNTRAY! then soon after that got a genesis 3. :] first game was sonic 3.
    4. man, when i would goto my cousin's house, both same age, duriing the age of 3-6, i would play games all the time! starting from like some weird computer fighting game to nintendo, then to snes. that was the bomb.
    5. i would go back to when i bugged my dad for my red gameboy, and got an snes instead.. :(
ok your turn.  [/list]

1. I dont exactly remember the age. 4 or 5 perhaps.
2. My dad's Fairchild Channel F.
3. I co-owned my SNES with my brother. The first cosole that only I owned was my PS2.
4. All that time wasted trying to get to the end of Super Mario Brothers on the SNES, only to have a friend come over to show me a shortcut.
5. Get more RPGs like FF II, FF III, and Chrono Trigger on the SNES.

1. About 5 or so.
2. Learned to game on my uncle's NES
3. NES
4. Beating Super Mario Bros. and Metroid with my uncle
5. I'd have been a CAG for life, instead of only starting last December.

1. Super Young, definitely < 5
2. A Macintosh, believe it or not
3. NES
4. Too many, a somewhat recent one was pulling a super long gaming session late at night and beating Zelda Ocarina of Time (n64)
5. Maybe buy a PSOne. Maybe. :D

I'm gonna sound old now... and I'm only 25. :)

1. Probably 3 or 4
2. The Atari 2600, specifically, I remember playing either Maze Craze or Video Pinball.
3. Atari 2600, and I've been a gamer ever since.
4. There are so many awesome gaming moments, but I'd probably go with the old all-night marathon sessions of either Toejam & Earle or Gain Ground, both on the Genesis. Those games were made for all night gaming!
5. If I could change anything, I would buy either a Sega Master System or a TurboGraphix 16. I never got much of a chance to try a Master System, so I'd like to give it it's due. As for the TG16, I rented it many times from my local video store, with Dungeon Explorer. I loved it. It was a lot of fun, if a little lacking as a system.

1. how old were when you had your first experience with a game? Around 4 or 5
2. what was the first console you ever played besides arcade? Atari...I don't remember which version, the one with the crappy E.T. game
3. WHICH WAS THE FIRST CONSOLE YOU EVER OWNED? Once again Atari
4. what was your best childhood gameing exp? Finally getting to the end of the castle and not having some stupid Toad tell me the princess is in another castle.
5. if you had to go back and changed anything you did with your gameing history, what would it be? Play more

1. Super young, like 3 or 4
2. My dad had one of the original Pong home machines in our living room when I was a kid in the mid-late '70s
3. I got an Atari 2600 for christmas around '81 or so...memory so fuzzy... But, i soon got an NES, and then a few years later I mowed a bunch of lawns so I could make my first self-financed game purchase: the SNES!!
4. I rode my bicycle nearly 5 miles into a busy area of town so I could buy that SNES at Richway (that's what Target used to be called, for all you young 'uns). I would have gotten in a shit ton of trouble for riding that far (and back, while carrying a boxed SNES!), so I told my folks that my buddy's mom drove me. hee hee.
5. I really wish I could get back some of my old stuff. I still have my original NES from '85, and I've replaced the 2600 with a spiffy 7800, but I'd love to get that old Pong game back along with my Saturn, Genesis, TurboGrafx, and all the other things I sold off.....

1. Prolly around 4. First meaningful moment would be when I was 9.
2. My aunt's Atari 5200. Vaugely remember playing Pac-Man on it.
3. Game Boy. Got it for Christmas the year it came out.
4. 7th grade English, cuz my teacher brought in an old Atari for the last 3 weeks of class.
5. Prolly only one thing at all. In either May or June of 98, I only had enough money for one new Saturn game, so of course I end up picking Burning Rangers, which would go on to become rather worthless compared to the other options....

1. how old were when you had your first experience with a game?
Mmm.... I was about 4~5 year old

2. what was the first console you ever played besides arcade?
Game Boy (if Game Boy don't count.... NES would be my first counsole)

3. WHICH WAS THE FIRST CONSOLE YOU EVER OWNED?
NES

4. what was your best childhood gameing exp.
Playing Super Mario Bro 3 on NES

5. if you had to go back and changed anything you did with your gameing history, what would it be?
Go buy SNES n their "RARE" RPG games

1.) Around five.
2.) NES.
3.) Playstation (I had Gameboy before that if it's counted).
4.) Well, technicly, my childhood just ended in April, so I'm gonna say the night I started the "Wolfenstein". What's that, you ask. It's a routine where I played Wolfenstein on Live all summer till five in the morning, slept till noon, and then started again.
5.) Started getting into games sooner, not selling off the box of old video games my sister's boyfried gave me.

1. how old were when you had your first experience with a game?
Probably 8 or 9 when space invaders was released in 1978. I used to go to a dept store down the street from my house to play it.

2. what was the first console you ever played besides arcade?
Atari 2600 which was probably in 1979, at my uncle's house. What a thrill, playing games hooked up to a tv.

3. WHICH WAS THE FIRST CONSOLE YOU EVER OWNED?
I got my 2600 probably when everyone else did: xmas 1980, the year space invaders was released for it.

4. what was your best childhood gameing exp.
Getting ET for the 2600. Just kidding. I guess it would have to be when my mom came home with asteroids for the 2600. It wasn't any special occasion and I don't rememeber asking for it. I was just psyched because it was so out of the blue.

5. if you had to go back and changed anything you did with your gameing history, what would it be?
I think it would be to convice my parents to get me a commodore 64, rather than the ti-99/4a. I was the first kid in the neighborhood to get a computer, but everyone else got the c-64 the following year. :D

1. I can't even remember I couldn't have been more then 3 or 4 since iI remember getting top gun for NES for graduating kindergarten
2. First console was NES a cousin of mine was visiting and he brought his NES with Ikari Warriors. That was the first time I had ever played a viddeo game. I was hooked from then on.
3.NES
4. Probably the countless hours I spent repeatedly beating Chrono Trigger.
5. Can't think of much besides saving all the instructions and boxes for all of the games I bought.

1. About 5-6.
2. NES was the first console I ever played........
3. ......and also owned: NES + Gun and Powerpad, Mario/Duck Hunt/WCTM cartridge.
4. I have a lot of fun memories. My favorite was probably beating Mario Bros. 3 (during first grade maybe?). It was my favorite Mario game and I loved the song during the credits. Afterwards, I'd play the game and warp all the way to World 8 just so I could quickly beat Bowser and hear the song again. :)
5. I would've kept all the boxes to all my old-school games and systems. There was just never enough room for them and they found their way to the trash. But how could I have known at that age to keep them? The saving grace is I still have just about all my manuals.

1. about 5
2. nes
3. nes
4. my mom worked night times and she was a single mother, so my brothers, sister, and i would all go to bed at curfew (8 pm) and "pretend sleep" until 1 am (when my mom went to work) so we could play adventure island until she got home (6 am)
5. i would've stole lots of money so i could've gotten a chance to buy and play all of the gems that i missed out on....we were never spoiled as kids like a lot of cagers i see on here...we maybe got 2 games a year growing up...and we played the shit out of them...only with the ps2, xbox, and gc era did i finally have enough money to buy anything and everything that i want

edited because i didnt see #5

1. 4-5
2. Atari
3. Nintendo
4. I'll consider childhood anything before college....So I'd say finally beating FFVII
5. I would have played RPGs before my Freshman year in HS.

Screw numbering - paragraphs are better.

One of my first memories related to gaming was at family gatherings. My uncle on my dad's side of the family had an NES and loved it. I still remember playing Super Mario Brothers 3 in my favorite world - the fourth one, with the gigantic enemies - and just being glad that I could play, not caring at all when I died. It'd be nice if I could still do that today. :)

My first console was actually a 2600 that my mom bought from a garage sale...but the first one that really counts was my NES. Mario/Duck Hunt, Punch-Out (the Mike Tyson version), and the second Ninja Turtles game, soon followed by many more.

As far as changing things goes...the only thing that I can think of that would be a significant change would have been getting an SNES instead of a Genesis. I love my Genesis, but let's face it: it's much easier (and cheaper) to get a Genesis and its "essential" titles than it is to do the same for the SNES.

I think that covers everything. :D

1. how old were when you had your first experience with a game? - about 4-5
2. what was the first console you ever played besides arcade? Genesis probly, possible NES
3. WHICH WAS THE FIRST CONSOLE YOU EVER OWNED? NES or Atari 2600, personally though either old GB or N64
4. what was your best childhood gameing exp. - I remeber around 5-7 yrs old just hanging out at my friends house a lot and playing genesis all day. Brings back great memorys of some of those side scrollers. And he only lived about a block away from a blockbuster so we could play a game till we beat it, return it, and pick up another great game.
5. if you had to go back and changed anything you did with your gameing history, what would it be? - I really regret selling all my old systems. I had this habit of selling the system I had at the time for the next new system, then repeating the process. I had a NES with good games and sold it, same with Atari 2600, and I've had 3 genesis's and am finding it very hard to find all the good games again, sold my N64 and all games, as well as my Dreamcast and all games.

1. somewhere around 3-5
2. Grandads NES
3. Grandads NES (gave it to me)
4. playing Super Mario on the NES woot!
5. I regret not being informed about the gaming world.. i had a NES, and of course was too young to really know about the new games coming out.. or anything like.. next console i got was Sega Genesis.. i still had no clue about new games coming out, what games were good/bad, then i got a playstation. When i bought my playstation, I had no clue about any other consoles that were out at the time. I didnt know any of the games that were on playstation. Sadly i regret being uninformed, and also not getting a Dreamcast when it came out :( ... i still to this day have never owned or played a Sega Dreamcast :(.

I was 3 years old
It was my brothers Atari 2600
My first game system that I bought and not my brother was my Sega Genesis
My best gaming experience has to be playing Super Mario Bros 3 on my Brothers NES
I would of bought the SNES before the Genesis and I would of waited for the DC to die before buying it.

1. Probably around 4 or 5.
2. I think it was either the Atari 2600 or the Collecovision. I can fainlty remember the little static screens you used to put on your tv and play pong. It would have different scenes on it like a hockey rink or something. But then I can barely remember one that was an old witches house. It had a bunch of scary looking things in the windows and a witch flying in the sky.
3. The first one I personally ever owned was the NES. My older brother had an Atari, though.
4. My best childhood gaming moment was probably playing FF1 with my little brother. We used to play the crap outta that game.
5. I would probably never had sold my Turbo Grafix 16, Sega Saturn, my two PS2s, my original Game Gear or any of my other systems.
