I just got back from a yard sale, For two dollars I bought top loading nes, regular nes, super nintendo( with mouse), Five nes games, zapper gun with all the hookups to the systems
Bah. I saw retro games at one garage sale in my entire life. It was an NES with quite a few games, but really good condition (except for Zelda), and I got it for $20. I wish I could find some more game stuff at garage sales, but it never seems to pop up.
The guy i bought them from said if he didnt sell it today he was going to throw the box of stuff away. I was so happy my wife said i looked like a kid on christmas. But I really was!!!!
i dont even believe this guy got these at a yard sale. It seems a bit made up. I mean come on 2 dollars for all that shit? Thats like 10 cents per item. No person sells anything, even trash for 10 cents...

I tend to agree with you. Maybe it's because we live in Wisconsin and we have seen the "deals" that people offer at their garage sales here. Anyone, and I mean anyone would realize that they could get more than $2 for all of that.

Thats funny why would i lie about it, I am a 24 year old man come on. I just thought it was a great yard sale find. But if you dont belive it o well. I would load pics but, I dont know how.
I understand that i would be the same way, But I was just happy as hell that I found this deal. And wanted to share what kind of stuff you can find at yard sales. I was in a upperclass comunity, The guy also gave my son a box of toys for free. What are 24 year old supposed to listen too?
how would pics provide the cost? Im just a bit sceptacle... and i dont kno many 24 yr old men who like korn anymore...
Blah, what the hell does his age matter if he likes Korn?

You know, I'd say the same thing...but I had a find just like this. Not quite as good, but mine was only a dollar.
It happens...just because you aren't lucky enough to have found something like this doesn't make it a lie. This seems a bit extreme, but a lot of people don't know or care about how valued older games are among gamers. Look at the top-loader. They see it as an obsolete piece of junk. We drool at it.
I had a good day today too: 16 SNES games at 50 cents apiece (Mario Kart, All Stars, Dkc 1 and 2, Pilotwings and more) Killer Instinct gold for 4 bucks and 2 bucks for perfect MGS for PS1.

Man who pissed in your cheerios? Lots or rummage sales have stuff priced for 5 cents 10 cents I had one a few years ago and charged a dollar a bag. The point to many garage sales isn't to make money (although an extra 100 bucks or so is nice of course) but to get rid of stuff.
Hell I found a complete Atari 7800 system w/ 16 games for $5 at a thrift the other day, and the day before I got a complete Atari 2600 w/5 games for $2.50 at the same thrift.
So it does happen.
