He's saying, just buy used stuff, cause it will be absolutely perfect in like-new condition. I think.

I can vouch for that. I picked up Burnout 3 used for $15 awhile ago and it was in perfect shape, with manual.

Shame I decided against shipping used games to wherehouse.com for credit. I stopped after FYE started being a pain in the ass about taking in games and it became too much of a hassle.

Ordered all these, my total came to $100.66.

Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete First Season [2
Used DVD $15.33

Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Second Season [
Used DVD $15.33

Batman, Vol. 2 (last one!!!)
Used DVD $17.99

Family Guy, Vol. 1: Seasons 1 & 2 [4 Discs] (last one!!)
Used DVD $19.33

Family Guy, Vol. 2: Season 3 [3 Discs]
Used DVD $19.33

Everything was about the same price I could get it on amazon used or at a pawn shop... awesome deal though, I saved 50% total by buying used and with the code, all this stuff would have cost a little over $200 if I bought it retail.

Wow, thanks for posting this OP. I just dropped almost $200 on a bunch of DVD TV box sets (including two of the Transformers box sets that are out of print now). And my wife actually approved of the purchase :)

Fuck, I didn't even think of those. Ah well, maybe I'll look at it. I only have Season 1.

How did you get them to show up? All I see are the seperate 19.99 volumes.

Nevermind, have to get technical with what you type, I figured they'd be long OOS by now anyways lol.

Anyone else have any recommendations on some good television box sets to pick up? Scrubs Season 1 was still too expensive used, I can get it for 29.99 brand new and throw an employee discount on top of it, so it will end up being the same price (after shipping).

I would have thought it would be 22.99 used, but no dice.

Yeah, of course the only big box that's in stock (not the individual discs) is my Season 1. Ah well.

Edit: Who has the license for Transformers now? I'm hoping to God if they put out DVDs again they'll rerelease the ones currently out and somewhat match the packaging.

Hey, I don't mind at this point, getting both Family Guy sets for 19.99 a piece is my deal of the day - not to mention Curb Your Enthuiasm Season 1 and 2, since I don't have HBO anymore.

I was going to get Seinfeld, but they show it pretty frequently on television, and I'm actually home to watch all the re-run's, so I passed for now.

If I can get my paycheck tonight, I'm dropping cash for a few of the upcoming Batman SE's and maybe (but not likely) Beast Wars S2 or S3. S1 might be needed for completeness, but it was pretty boring.

Somebody drop a list of good tv box sets that would be worth getting with this deal... I really can't think of anything else that screams must have.

The Office (BBC version) is a very good show. Probably overlooked by a lot of people.

Seinfeld is a classic.

Family Guy

Then, shows I like which not everyone else might like are:

South Park
Dark Angel
Will & Grace

I managed to snag a BRAND NEW Gauntlet 2 Game Boy game for about 7 bucks. I'll probably never open it, but I like to have new and sealed old stuff. So, yay me I guess :applause:

The Shield and Futurama are what I got, but South Park Seasons 5+6 are also quality. And Arrested Development for fucking sure.

I was about to get Season 5, but I can get it for the same price used on Amazon, so I passed for now.

Hopefully the coupon code stays around for a week or so, I might pick up some more stuff then.

If you get The Office, make sure you get the version that comes with both seasons and the special. The special ties everything together very nicely.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if all these orders go through. They're likely losing money on a lot of this stuff.

I'd imagine they'd have the same type of quality across the board... someone earlier in the thread said they got a used box set that was like new.

Hell, for these prices, I'd take a bit of wear and tear though (even though I'd like them to come as perfect as possible!!)

Well, I don't really see anything worth getting on DVD that I can save more on here than during the DDD sale. I'll probably wait on movies and see if I want any games or cds.

I just picked them up at DealRush.com before coming here - for a site that never, ever has coupons to put this one out, and way better than the coupons they do put out, is the shit. I just had new credit go in today, so I picked up Growlanser Generations Deluxe for $53 and now should have just enough to get X-Men Legends 2 for $0.22 after credit and coupon once their site gets it up.

Please don't expire before than coupon!!!!

anyone have any recommendations that are fairly cheap? It seems like a waste to pay $3 for shipping when it's only $1 more for every extra item.

Used copies of Futurama volumes... those are some amazing prices, shame I already own all 4.
