hmmm... I think I'm going to have to wait and hope for some badass black friday sale somewhere.
When the XB360 launches two days prior? I highly, highly doubt it.

Thanks, I ordered Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo.

Not being charged tax in California is rare. :D

Over $50 per game is way too expensive! I rather wait till next year it will drop down $20 - $25 :)

We are CAG we don't spend that kinda $$$ for one game!

"We are CAG we don't spend that kinda $$$ for one game!"

My sentiments exactly...that's why I laughed when I read "cheap" in the title of the thread. I know they're cheaper than the regular pre-order prices, but it still isn't CAG cheap.

This is a pretty good deal for anyone ready to preorder a few 360 games. The only draw-back for me is the wait and the site's ability to actually ship them on the release day.

Just a little info for anyone intereseted.
1) The .99 shipping is for the entire order - not per game
2) They don't hold all of your items until the last one is in. (i.e. if one gets delayed, you will still get the others shipped when they come out)
3) I (in SC) did not get charged sales tax (for me that is about $3 a game)

I ordered Kameo, DOA 4, Quake 4 & PD0 for $194.83 shipped. If I had went to a local store for these, it would have cost me $230.96. So I saved $36.13. That makes the 3rd party over-pricing of games a little easier to deal with.

Console comes out 11/22, games available for ship 11/23 with 5-10 day ground shipping games arrive 11/28-12/3.

Hmmm, console.... no games = no fun.

Well I'm getting mine the 19th thanks to Pepsi!!! I'll get need for speed with the system. I'll buy PGR3 as soon as it's out and proably one FPS and then buy Kameo, the other FPS I want and possibly more to save cash from that website. Where do they charge taxes at ? I have several Family Videos where I live so that sucks if i end up having to pay taxes. I could save 15$ a game if they don't chang me tax. If I buy 4 games that means I save enough cash to buy another one. So if I have a couple games to hold me over for 10 days and it gets me another game for free then it;s worth it to me.

Well my hope is, like many previous system launches, several games will be released before the console is. If that is the case, I might get them around the same time. Several sites have some games listed as releasing as early as the 14th. So, it is possible - At least I can dream that anyway. Either way, I plan to pick up a few titles that they did not have a preorder for at the store. So, I might just have a smaller slection on day 1. And like others have stated, I can wait if it means I have the cash for another game.

It's called price discrimination and early adopters, which means that cheapasses will be missing out until March or April of next year at the earliest :)

I'm usually one of these cheapasses, but I broke down and preordered the 360, and it looks like I'm going to be picking me up 2 games from this deal.
something about putting cheap and the words Xbox 360 together in a sentence doesn't seem right...
but a great post nonetheless.

Good Job OP!
Dam no Oblivion. Does anyone know if they charge your card right away?
added Oblivion
I don't know if they charge right away, I'm waiting on this deal. I will probally bite next week though.

Could someone who has ordered from them post if they charge right away, or when the games ship? Thanks. If they charge when they ship, I will be ordering a few. If not, I really don't feel like paying for a game that might not come out until next year.

I've never ordered from them, but this was on their "Shipping & Returns" page ( http://shop.famvid.com/catalog/shipping.php ):

Why have I been double charged for my order?
You haven't. When you place an order, we verify that your credit card has enough available credit for the purchase - this is known as an authorization. We only collect the funds when your order ships. While the authorization/funds-collected sequence occurs with all credit card purchases, it's usually only listed when you view your transaction history online.

I really don't think the 360 is that expensive. This is coming from a 15 year old with no job and his parents aren't paying any of it.

It's also coming from someone who doesn't have any financial responsibilities...aka car insurance, rent, utilities, gas, food, etc.

But that's another story. You've got 400 dollars of expendable income and I think this is a good deal for some new 360 games.

You probably meant for your statement to indicate that even someone without an income thinks the 360 isn't too expensive, but it just comes across as a statement from someone who is too young/naive to know the value of money. I echo SkyGheNe's reply that you probably don't have the other financial responsibilities to deal with. I don't mean any offense, but if you have no income, and your parents aren't paying for the 360, then where does the money come from? I am guessing it is mostly from gifts from relatives, and there isn't anything wrong with that, but, generally speaking, $400 is a lot of money for someone without an income to spend on something frivolous.

I agree with the statements about how this is affordable if you have a disposable income as a kid. However, compared to other vices in my life (computer, snowboard, dog, etc.) the Xbox 360 really isn't too expensive. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a gamecube by any means but considering what I spend on other things this isn't the worst pricing in the world. Of course, I didn't pre-order one and I'll probably wait for a price drop : D

I ordered a 360 game from them and they authorized my card for the amount (basicly put a hold on it). It won't be a transaction until the game comes out and they tell the CC company the final amount. I'm buying several games so 7-10$ saving for each game is a big deal to me.

I also wanted to let you guys know I decided to cancell one game and get a diffrent one. So I sent a email asking for a simple swap because the games are the same price and they did it for me no problem. So if you buy a game and it gets pushed back, but there is another game you want for the same price just email them and they sould swap it for you no problem.
