Xenosaga II $19.99 new at EBgames.com

Now, all TRU has to do is drop its price to 19.99, and I'll greentag-nab the shit out of it. I don't really like the games, but I like getting them cheaper than my friend who loves the series and is always paying way too much.

I'm totally guilty of this. I bought this for $50 on release and yes, even though its not worth it, I enjoyed it a lot.

I saw it at my TRU for $39.99 and it was green tagged, so $20. Unless you were waiting for a $19.99 green tag for $10.
 
I grabbed this at TRU's Green Tag... but for people who missed it, $20 is an excellent price for this game.
 
Xenosaga II just really isn't worth it at any price, especially if you loved the first one. I consider Xenosaga to be one of the greatest RPGs ever. I detest II so much I still haven't finished it (Preordered it btw- the bonus DVD was worth much more than the game). Graphical/Voice changes and the HORRIBLE combat system (very likely the worst in any RPG other than Metal Dungeon, but Metal Dungeon is the worst at about everything, isn't it?) among many other things really make it drastically more of a chore than a joy to play. Slogging through the story will probably be necessary for III, but I'd really just wait and see if a DVD of cinema scenes from II comes with III. That way you would get most of the story of II without having to play this god awful game. Still would have to deal with the horrid new voices and models though...
 
You're comparing it to Metal Dungeon, Mietha? Is it really that bad? I learned the hard way on that game.
 
Xenosaga 2 is more worth it compared to Death by Degrees and dead to rights 2 I can tell you that. Go play tekken force mode and you'll know what death by degrees has to offer!
 
As with the post back in the summer when BB dropped this to $19.99, go get it at BB with the $5 coupon and grab the pricegrabber $5 rebate and badabing! $10 for all you Xenosaga fans! :D
 
Still haven't even beat the first one, only played 2 hrs into it or so. No hurries, I will pick this up when it's even cheaper. Good deal for those what wants one.

Or you can get it at TRU next Thursday... it's $20 dollar green tagged, so 50% off drops it to $10.
