i've gone to best buy and they don't like giving you a price match and a $5 dollar gamer coupon because it is two "deals". the point of the price match is to not lose money when another store has something cheaper. plus with the rewards card you get points. i share my card with my dad and we rack up points pretty damn fast.
I thought this was always VERY YMMV. Some employees will see it as combining two offers, others won't.
another complaint i've had with BB is that we went last night and they refused to give us 10% off our purchase cuz we had a coupon. they said that "10% off regularly priced music, movies, something else and video games and software regularly priced 19.99 and up" meant everything $19.99 and up. but since when in hell have cd's been 19.99 and up at BB it makes since for movies and kinda on whatever the other thing was but not on music. it really is for the videogames and software. we're going back again today to buy the pillar cd with free 17 song sampler.
I don't quite understand the complaint here. The coupon clearly states that it's for 10% off anything $19.99 and up. Are you saying BB should have more expensive music, or are you saying that because the coupon mentions music you should be able to use it on any CDs? If it's the former, that's ridiculous and if it's the latter, remember that there are box sets and what-have-you that cost more than $20.
And honestly, I've touched on this in another post but come on. You complain about the store and in the same paragraph mention about how you're going back to spend more money. I don't get it.
now if more cashers could treat us like coustomers and not criminals, stealling money from them, just cuz we want to price match.
Work retail long enough and you'll see how people can get that way. For every cashier you run into that's suspicious of your discounts, there are at least ten people who have gotten over on the company (or at least tried), intentionally or otherwise.
