Hi there. I'm sure I can reformat this list as time goes on, so forgive a mess that it may be. The one point that I want to make is that just because I don't have a game on my want list does not mean I don't want it. I don't know a lot of the games out there, so I'm hoping that if you have a game that is generally good, and you see a game on my list that you want, you can offer it up. The inverse to that, however, is that just becaues I have a game on my Have list does not mean I"m really willing to give it up. That being said here are a few standards I go by:
A) I want equitable trades based on economic value, not on personal value. That is to say, if Game A is worth $15, and Game B is worth $30, I don't find it a viable trade, even if Game A is 2x better than Game B.
B) I typically derive values based on what EBGames and Gamestop are selling them for, or what I can find them for on ebay.
C) I hardly think that a GBA game for a PS2 game is an unfair trade, especially if they're both worth the same amount of money (apparently some people believe that a PS2 game is inherently worth more than a GBA game, even if you can buy them both for the same price).
D) I will most likely tell you why I don't want to trade whatever game I have for whatever game you have. My have list is, more or less, a complete list of all the games I own. Please don't take offense to this, but for some games, if you want them from me, you'll have to give me a rather inequitable advantage for it.
E) I don't have any trading experience on the CAG boards, however, I have traded a bunch on the boards at import-anime.com, a bunch on GameTZ and trade games now. I had an ebay account with 1 negative and 12 positives, which I've since disbanded (the 1 negative was from someone who stiffed me on a game I paid for, and then retaliated when I gave him a negative).
