A problem with the mic on XBL while playing Mech Assault.

My mic isn't working while playing Mech Assault. I can hear and it shows on the screen that my mic is plugged in but I can't talk. The button is green on the connector device and I don't think I shut it off in any way. It works perfectly while playing Rainbow Six 3 and ESPN Basketball. :? If their is a way to fix it, please let me know. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem before.

I checked settings and options for the game and the xbox and it still does not work. I'm assuming that a simple solution can be used to fix it.
 
you my have to go through puberty again to fix that voice of yours.

just kidding. ;)

there might be some setting for the mic on Mech assault somewhere. thats weird it works on other games and not MA.

There's a known glitch about this. Whenever I would play, I would hear the host of the game say "everyone take out your mic's" right before the game started. So I guess you have to unplug your mic before the game starts and plug it in when everything loads up.
 
I had the same problem with ghost recon: island thunder. Fortunately I dont have to worry any more cause I traded it.

I'd say it appears that he knows sj41 personally, since it appears to be in jest.

But I could be wrong. It happens once or twice a year.
 
Is MechAssult a game where you have to push the white button in to talk? I know some games (R6, Crimson Skies) keep the mic open at all time while others (GR:IT) make you push the white button to talk.

try leaving it out until the game starts, then put it back whence it starts. I noticed a lot of people seem to do that right before launch. Or it could be nobody wants to hear your voice? :p ........
