Who would've thought $50 for a game + having to spend $100 was a deal...I don't like this new generation.

You don't have to spend $100. You just get more of a discount if you do.

If you just use the $5 off $50 coupon and pay $1.80 for shipping the game is still $51 - over $10 less than competing stores.

P.S. - During launch times, games are always full price.
