Children of Mana 4 player?

Seems to be multiplayer from those images if you ask me. All the portraits are in different rooms on the dungeon map, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense if they're all in your single-player party. Rejoice!
 
It could be online and even with the DS's limited online capabilities, I think they could handle 4 players.:)

One of my favorite games, and I've had tons of fun with it 3-player. Hopefully Children of Mana will be more like Secret and less like Legend of Mana.
