I've seen quite an assortment of arcade sticks in stores out here, and I think some might have been on the cheap.

Let me know what ones you're interested in and I'll try to scope some prices.

Oh man, I struck gold today.

I popped in my local WonderGoo (in Shima) and found....

*drumroll*

The FFVII Crisis Core LE PSP box set for....

*longer drumroll*

21,800 yen!

This set was "used" but I opened it up and everything is PERFECT. No scratches/dead pixels and it even has a screen protector on it!

I couldn't believe my luck, considering the fact that this set retailed at 25,000 yen and is SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE.

WOO!

I've been considering doing that, since I spend most of my free time hunting for games. :)

PM me a list and I'll see if I can help ya out.

The only issue is that I don't know how much shipping costs, as I've never really mailed any packages during my time in Japan. Probably not too much though.

I hit up the local Off House chains whenever I can. Not so much for the old games, but for the toys. I scored a few sealed Nintendo playing card decks from the 1990s for 300 yen each last trip. I always seem to find something that makes the trip worth while.

What I'm curious to know is if there are "CAG" like sites in Japan, where people talk about game deals for "new" games. Most new game prices in Shinjuku for example, are so highly priced I feel gaming is a more expensive hobby as opposed to the US where we have the treasured buy 2 get 1 ToysRUS deal every year. Anyone have any luck in knowing which stores have "discount bins" similar to Best Buy, CC, ToysRUS, etc.?

I'm pissing in my pants! Nice post. ThanksPosted Image

I thought people did that when extremely scared or think something is majorly funny to where they can't control it, and only dogs did it when excited.:booty:j/k

but yeah, it is a good read, definitely.
