Looking for sites with suggestions on what to buy when building a PC.

I am not building a high end machine. I would like to find some sites that give you different suggestions on parts to buy for different price ranges. I have hit sunkend.com and buzztek.org and I am using them but I would like to get more information.

There's often magazines at stores that do some good builds.


Here's an IGN article. It's over a year old though

PCGamer always has a page dedicated to building 3 different PCs; from entry level, mid level, to hardcore level, with their respective components and pricings.

Read both sites' howto sections.

Then look for parts on www.newegg.com and www.zipzoomfly.com

I remember Tomshardware did an article on how to build a gaming PC for under $500 a few months. IIRC it was able to play BF2 and it definetly play WoW.
