CheapyD's first reaction to missing the CC sale.

I think CheapyD will definitely address the "evil" that has been brought out by this CC deal on these forums.

I haven't seen this much animosity in a long time.

He'll break in to every CAG's house in the world and steal all the $4.99 games. It is the only thing that makes sense.

If the honeymoon went well he'll likely be a bit blase about the whole thing. It takes a while for the buzz to wear off and settle back into normal life or rather, the new 2.0 version of life after marriage.

A lot of the membership here is quite young. He may need to remind them that while he did miss out on a sale that will be remembered for years to come he has been getting laid many times a day for the time of his absence.

There is no virtual substitute for that.
 
i think he might be semi releaved that he missed it. Weddings and honeymoons are expnsive and so will be starting a new life, he should be glad he didnt spend his money on tons of cheap video games

You are so right. Emotions are all over the place for this CC deal.
 
yeah, this deal was nuts. I got some games, but like with most deals some people missed out and some people went nuts and baught any game they could get their hands on. I myself will actually return one game I got. I SX superstar I picked up on the off chance it would be decent, but the online reviews are way too low for me to keep it. It's not worth the bucks I paid for it. I'll return it and let some other cheap ass enjoy the crappy game.

Has defender said anything about this deal ? I remember he hated it when BB sold all those games for 5 bucks a while back. And this CC list of games is way larger then the BB one.
 
i did the same thing during the BB clearances. I returned stuff because of low ratings; plus i just bought because it was cheap. I have decided now a days to only buy stuff I actually want .

some games are cursed and can never be gotten rid of unless you practically pay people to take them away. I've had that experince with a stack of UmJammer Lammy I've had for years.

I was shocked to see X-Squad on the list. Wasn't this a PS2 launch game? Shouldn't have been in the clearance bin with Evergrace and Eternal Ring and long since gone? Actually, I like the two From games and they turned out to be the only launch titles I can look back on with any fondness but they also suffer fromt he curse.

If it's convenient it can worthwhile to go back to stores after they've be consumed by CAG locusts for this very reason. A lot of people will not have any reviews for reference or see something they've neve heard of before and buy to secure it for themselves until they make a decision. This doesn't mean the game is a turkey, it may just not be what they hoped. I found a surprising number of items at Best Buy almost week after the big day thanks to returns.

Another CAGer says that the "oh the sale was supposed to be next week" line was just BS and the games are really being sent back to the distributors (and never meant to be sold for this price). We'll just have to see.
