I Got Spiderman 2 for half price!

This deal requires a lot of effort. Go to circuit city and look for the games left over that are 5 dollars. Basically by 5 of them for 5$. Then EBgames has a deal going on where every game you trade in towards Spiderman 2 you get $10 no matter what. Make sure your games are not on the exclusion list. Limit though is 5 games.
 
sure it does 5 games at CC = $25 then trade for Spiderman 2 for $50 all in all 1/2 off. I think however sports titles older than 2004 are excluded.

first of all, rebates suck. and we here at CAG frown upon ppl that go in other's threads to brag how "their" deals are better than blah blah's deals... and especially if it involves GGC...

also how does your $29 dollar deal which doesnt includ tax and have to wait for the rebate beat his $27 deal??? ($5 x 5 = $25 x %1.0825 = $27)

The guy at my EB store say I can do it for madden too and he even say that whatever extra money you still have on spiderman 2 you can put it on any other games so if you're willing to trade in 10 games you get 100 dollars. No sport though.
 
EB is playing a lot of you like a fiddle. That's sad if that's what you're doing with your $5 games and sad if you think that's a good deal.

The deal works with Halo 2 as well. I bought 12 games that were not on the exclusion list for around $44 (we're talking games like Haven and The Thing). Traded them in for $10 each towards Halo 2. The deal is trade 2 for $20 so you can only do $40 per game, but I spent $44 and got 3 Halo 2s pre-ordered .
 
Sounds like a lot of needless frustration... especially if your CC is cleaned out by now like the one by me is.

I think peteyrose wins though. :)
 
You can do it for Tales of Symphonia too posted it in the CC thread on Sunday but it's lost somewhere in page 40 of like 80 :D

i traded in 5 games- jedi knights, RLH, wolfenstien, and two others i cant recall and copped it for five dollars. @ game crazy

I got it for free! Here's what I did!

I went to work! I got a paycheck! I used the money from my paycheck to buy the game! WHOA!

Well, that doesn't make it free, then, doesn't? You had to first pay with effort/work/labor, for which you reveived a symbolic device indicating that labor, which was then used to by the game. So that's not free.
