I found a pattern online and made my own out of some plaid wool-like cotton. It's not a true kilt, but passes for one unless you really know what one looks like.

I'd like to have one from utilikilts.com

Well, I got my kilt for $35 US, but it was in Scotland. The plane ticket was $1000.
