i havent opened one of them. I dont expect any of them to be amazing but
give me a run down if you can. I dont have access to any review sites.

Freaky flyers is horrible, i bought it for $5 a while back and it was not worth it, i played it for 30m and it was one of the worst games ever, not to mention the most annoying game music.

Dark Cloud: its a game like Zelda the dungeons are repeative but overall its a good game

I liked Freaky Flyers... it has good game control and is fun for what it is. Paid $12 way back when and it was worth every penny. $5 should make it more than twice as good! :)

haha...gameplay wise what was so bad about?
 
Try okage, I didn't get to far but I liked it, it seems like they took alot of aspects from other games and mushed them into one and it turned out okay. Its also a pretty goofy game and its made me laugh a few times, which most games don't.
 
I've only played Freaky Flyers, and that was on Xbox. Don't listen to prime, you'll have a blast playing it, especially if you like kart racing games.

It's pretty deep for a game of its type. There's lots of crap to unlock, including characters, mini-games and levels. The game is really corny, from the character design to the music - but I'm a sucker for that sort of stuff. I think you and the Missus will enjoy it.
 
You don't specify platform but some of those are exclusives and only one a GC exclusive so I'll use PS2 for the rest.

okage and dark cloud are 5 bucks good. meaning for full price i wouldn't even look at them, but for 5 bucks theyre awesome games.
 
pn03 is worth playing thru, its enjoyable, i got it for $30 and was satisfied at that price the control scheme takes some getting used to (cant fire and move at the same time) its fairly short and most of the stages aer inside and fairly repetitive in that regard

You're right, the art is great. But the game is crap. Worth it for $5 though.

I actually enjoyed this more than Dark Cloud 2. Worth the $5 and more though not $50.
 
I liked Dark Cloud alot worth your dollar 9as is Summoner 2)...I rented Dark Cloud 2 sometime ago. I remember I ended up tinkering with the invention system thing more than I did advancing through the game.
 
PN03 was pretty blah, very bland environments , endless grey, but that wasn't what bothered me as much, the way the character controls was just horribly annoying, doing dance moves to shoot.

Sumonner 2 wasn't all that great either but since i only played it a few hours I won't comment further on it.

there ya go I've played 9/10 and with the exception of barbarian and TGE, they're all worth at least one play.

Same feelings on both. Though Dark Cloud 2 is great also.
