Uh-oh... the $4.99 sale is in the CC ad!!

wow i must be marty mcfly and my tempo must really be a deloriean beacuse i knew this over a week ago (as did a few people here) ^^

I think the average person will realize that an ad for unknown $5 games are probably $5 because they suck.

I think the average person that knows nothing of the sale but what is in their ad doens't care enough about this to get there right when they open. Plus hopefully, a lot of people will still be in church when they first open, for once, I am happy I am a heathen.
Wooo, this makes price matching a lot easier!
It doesn't say which games are $5, but rather for "select games"

Hey, I found the missing batteries for your sarcasm detector.

Are stores actually going to price match the games? They are going to have to call cc and some stores i go to wont call to pricematch.

i love old news!!!
not be a jerk, but, THIS HAS BEEN ON THIS SITE BEFORE. to top that off it's in TrustCompany's weekly ad post.

Why do you think everyone was talking about re-stocks and back stocks for sunday?

I asked the stores in my area, and they said they would only price match available, advertised games. I'm pretty sure the CC ad isn't going to name any specific games, so price matching is gonna be extremely YMMV.

haha thats funny
when does the sale start? cuz i went to my CC on Sugar land and its allll crap! major crap!
Tomorrow, the 11th. I can't believe people still don't know about this being advertised with the gazillion CC thread running at the moment.
DO SOME DAMN RESEARCH PEOPLE!

Its not that, everytime we talk about the 4.99 deal (best buy and CC) I go there and the workers are all like...wtf u talkin about! so i dun think it really happens in my area..but im gonna look up the new paper today n have a look. If i find the ad thn ill go..

Gosh, there should be ever so much wonderful games to purchase for such a low price. We must camp out in front of Circuit City so as to assure ourselves of being there when they open!

In other news, I find that after adding 32 games to my library, giving some as gifts, returning a few, and selling a bunch of largely turkey titles, I'm actually ahead by about $10 not counting gas mileage.

It seems when we catch wind of the $5 game deals, we know before anyone at said BB or CC stores. So when you ask them and they have no idea, it doesn't mean that it isn't going on in your area. You need to physically take the game to the checkout and have them price it. Workers never know whats going on.
post a scan of the ad someone, I wanna see it.
the ad will be on the website sunday morning around 2-3am

ok, thanks.

It is not that exciting an ad.

You'll find it in the CC circular.

Just says something like "$4.99 game clearance on select titles. Titles may vary from store to store" in a corner next to the video game stuff.
