What's your favorite game that you picked up from the CC sale?

hiccupleftovers

CAGiversary!
For me too many since I got a lot, but here's a few.

Timesplitters 2
Bloody roar 4
Burnout 2

I might post somem more later if i feel like it.

My favorite game has to be Marvel vs. Capcom 2. My favorite fighting game of all time!

But, I've actually put the most time into Dot.Hack Part 1. It is strangely addicting! Frequency was also a pleasant surprise.

My favorite was Pikmin.

The game I played most was PSO Episodes I & II, although it was $14 at my CC, that was better price than anywhere else in my area.

So far ESPN NHL 2k4 has been played the most. Awesome hockey game. But I am most pleased with my Marvel vs. Capcom and Capcom vs SNk 2. Still have about 15 more to open and try, but overall, I got some great games out of this deal.

Mine is prolly Lunar Legend...was sorta iffy about it but its actually great fun! I also picked up Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO, Panzer Dragoon Orta and Crimson Sea

War of the MOnsters-great Powerstone "feel" to it.

And for everyone loving their copies of MvsC 2,you should play the REAL console version on the Dreamcast.;)

shenmue II is a great game, as is the original :)

id have to say my BEST game is prob espn hocket 2k4, but my favorite so far wuld have to be Futurama

Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance PS2. I've been looking for that game forever and its too much on ebay. I have the normal MGS2, but I really liked the VR missions in the first one and I wanted to play as snake more.

Dave Mirra 2/Enclave

The other one I got was THPS3 but I'm exchanging that at BB for THPS4 or another PH.

I'm pretty happy with my two games, I think I'm becoming readdicted to extreme sports games. I'm going to EB Games tomorrow to see if I can get Aggressive Inline and Matt Hoffman BMX 2 for Xbox for five bucks.

Street Fighter Alpha 3(gba), I've always wanted a fighting game for the gba, but was a little skeptical because there was only 4 buttons for a 6 button game. But, to my surprise it was awesome.

Lufia GBA, SF Alpha 3 GBA and DOA V-ball for Xbox were all sweet pickups. Something tells me I'll get a lot of use out of FIFA 2004 too. I also picked up Azurik (aka the warrior smurf) for some reason....I'm willing to bet that I won't be getting much use out of that at all.

Right now my current favorite from the sale is Dirt to Daytona. I've always loved a good racing game and this one is pretty good, but not quite Nascar Thunder quality. NBA Street has worn off and the others I've picked up (Mortal Kombat and Roadkill to name a few) aren't really that great.

So, for now it's Daytona. I still have a sealed Skies of Arcadia, but I think I'll start that up some other day.

Haven't played any of them yet, but based whic one I'm looking forward to playing most, probably either Panzer Dragoon, or Voodoo Vince.

Havent played any of them yet, I cant even think about it. There is stuff like Skies of Arcadia and KOTOR that are alot higher in the waiting line of me playing.

The first Buffy. I picked it up being a huge Buffy fan and was surprised at the gameplay. For me, it's more fun then the reviews. Graphics and sound are a little glitchy so maybe that turned some people off...

Rygar is a damn good game. It still has the feel of the first game but the gameplay is just so damn good. I love it. Well, except that Rygar looks like Nick Lachey and that really makes me mad.

Also, we've been playing the hell outta Super Bust a Move 2. That's one game that my wife can beat me at.

I don't know, I haven't gotten a chance to play any of them yet :( Of the ones that I think I'll like, probably Resident Evil: Dead Aim or Pikmin.

Well, technically I didn't get it AT CC, but I did trade a CC game to get it.

Links 2004. Great game.

The best one I got AT CC that I'm still playing Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 1.

Max Payne for GBA. It is very cool looking-sounding and plays well. There are several I haven't cracked open yet.

well i only picked up 6 games i wanted... but outta those 6 they would be viewtifull joe and MX superfly.... a close second is sega socar jam....

Bloodrayne is pretty cool and so are Onimusha and Jade Cocoon 2. Bloodrayne has really cool moves and stuff

nothing tops MGS2:Substance

It remains one of my top 5 favorite games of this generation(thanks again for the trade ikill2game)

I've really liked burnout 2, red faction 2is a decent play though as well...and DMC 2 is cool as well

Does it count if I got it via trade with another CC game? If so, definitely Viewtiful Joe - it is the sweetest game I've played in a long time. Plus, I love all those old school beat-em-ups so this is perfect for me. As for games that I actually bought at CC, I suppose ESPN Golf (GBA) and Rygar are pretty cool...
Max Payne (GBA)

Talk about an awesome port.
Damn. I had it in my hands and thought "how good can it be on GBA?" Damn.

Pikmin.

(Me, gazing intently at my television while playing): "Yes, my mighty Pikmin army, go forth and smite thy giant mushroom...OH HOLY CRAP...RETREAT...RETREAT... (57 Pikmin die) ... shaq-fu.

Gladius has really surprised me. I am not usually into turn-based RPGs but it has been great so far (haven't played alot of my other CC games yet though)

as far as a game my wife and myself love to play... Jeopardy and maybe Mario Party 4

myself, Fifa 2004, DDR Konamix, Viewtiful Joe

Crimson Sea had me addicted, pretty much got all the way to the end in three gaming sessions, only to promptly have my ass handed to me by the final boss. Its kinda funny, rest of the bosses in the game were pieces of cake besides the second to last boss ( who is the same guy) but then it ramps up horribly out of the blue. Still liked it for the brief time I could still get anywhere in it.
