Please help me find some good 2-player cooperative games!

If this is the wrong forum, I'm sorry. I'm looking for some 2-player coop games (for any system) for me and my girlfriend. We've just about beat the hell out of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. My girlfriend doesn't like to compete, and I'm a lot better at games than her, so coop is best. I have a NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, Xbox, PS2, and GameCube. Thanks a bunch!
 
If you liked Baldur's Gate... there's always Dungeons&Dragons: Heroes, Champions of Norrath and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. I'd check those out.

Oh, and if the two of you like FPS games.. that opens up a ton of co-op games.
 
Mario Kart Double Dash is pretty good co-op. If you like FPS, there's a bunch of co-op shooters that come to mind... Halo, RTCW, Serious Sam, Jedi Knight.

Metal Slug 3

Just about any FPS, Wolfenstein is HIGHLY recommended for co-op...

That can not be said enough. It's fast paced action enough for the hard core game player, but silly enough to keep almost anyone interested, and VERY compensating for the weaker of players in co-op mode.

Go, run, get it. The X-Box version would probably be the better of the console versions for your situation, the Next Encounter (PS2/GC) could get a little sticky, especially towards the end levels......

I agree with Zelda Four Swords and Final Fantasy:CC. My boyfriend and I finished four swords a few weeks ago, and are playing FF:CC now, and we have a lot of fun together. :D
 
A lot of people think Halo is overrated. But I thought it's co-op mode was fantastic. It's a ton of fun, especially watching your partner stick a grenade!

That's the only way I'll play Halo.

Anyway how about Mario Party, my gf plays that. And is Serious Sam that good? I might pick it up if I can find it around here again...

exactly the same for me! imo, co-op halo is much more fun than single player.
 
Maybe its just me, but my gf and I got a hell of a lot of fun from playing co-op on lord of the rings: return of the king. Its a lot of fun, and it can get pretty challenging.
