What! Why can't the people who don't want the bike sitting there just move it?
well since space isn't a commodity in japan most people walk/ride bike instead of having a car. so bikes are more frequent then cars so i'd imagine you'd get pretty tired of moving a bike for the 40th time every day.
Damn, that is an insane amount of bikes!
dood wait till you see China......
....

or UC DAVIS
or UC DAVIS
LOL, i went to visit a friend of mine up there and the UC Davis parking lot looked like a bike graveyard!

Do you know how much a bike weighs?

They're like two tons that is why they need a tow truck. ;)

lol doesnt this damage the bikes i mean with a car tow they dont throw the car on its back underneath 60 other cars.

that totally depends on the tow truck/tow truck company cuz my car got fucked up twice by the same company on two seperate occasions (one my fault, one a relatives). I think if i lived in japan I would ride a crotch rocket all day long like woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

So...how do people get their bikes back? Do they just go to the "impound lot" or wherever and claim a certain bike is theirs?

Sounds like an easy way for a nefarious character such as myself to get a cheap bike.

The one Japanese guy I used to live with in school always seemed to have a different bike that'd he'd bring in. He later told all of us after his usual 2 beers and done, that he would take them from different places around town.

He said he used to do that all the time in Japan-- Community bike.
Please tell me you ran up there and snagged one off the back!
I know we are all cheapasses but as shady as those guys look, you could probably walk up and offer then $5 and grab on off the back.

But...but... Free is cheaper than $5. :whistle2:k

Japan just keeps getting better and better:bouncy:

This is the second time I have seen a truck load of bikes being piled on each other. The first time I saw this dump truck with a whole slew of begotten bikes.
lmao. i want to go to japan. even though they hate chinese people
Is that some kind of joke or something? It sounds familiar.

And damn that is a massive pile of bikes.
