I will teach my how to make photoshop brushes. My first tut posted here.
1. Open up some crazy abstract 3d render. I will be using this one
2. Now press M to get out your rectangular marquee tool and set the feather to 45.
3. Now Make a selection on a cool part like so
4. Now go to edit>Define brush preset and name it
5. Now to see how the brush is make a new canvas and click the brush tool and select your brush, it will be at the bottom of the currently selected brush list.
6. Now to after you make the rest of your brushes you will have to delete the other brushes in the current brush set, but not yours. Then You go to save the pack
7. And now its in the brush folder and you can post it up on deviantart or w/e.

Making a gradient

Gradients are the parts in sig that go over the main tittles of categories. Here is an example of a simple gradient-

And a more advanced gradient-
Now if you still dont understand where gradients appear they appear wherever you put them, but in our case we are making a main tittle gradient. IT goes right here-
Now here are the steps to making a
simplegradient.
1. Make a new doucment in photoshop. Size- 2x30
2. Zoom in all the way so your up close.
3. Now select your gradient tool(or press "g") and make the foreground color
626060 and the background color "ffffff"...your color thing should look like this-
4. Now for the gradient settings choose these-
5. Now start at the way top and drag all the way to the bottom. Now zoom out and it should look like this-

Adding it to your skin
1. Go into your admin cp and access the CSS panel(in my other tut). Scroll through the code intill you find this-

2. Where it says
(http://) put the link to your gradient there.
3. Click Edit CSS and go back to your skin and look at the grad!
