I went lurking around Play-Asia after clicking on a link for a cheap Halo 2 CE and found this sale. They have quite a few things on sale which you can check out here: http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-ci2-71-2-74-sx-84-n.html

I wound up picking up King Of Fighters 94 Premium Edition (PS2) for only $40 (the game comes with a Neo Geo CD Replica Pad for PS2) along with Virtua Fighter 2 for PS2 as well. Was wayyyy tempted to pick up a Japanese copy of Rez, but I'll wait for my local Game Crazy to come through with my special order *crosses fingers*

maaaaaaaaaan...why couldn't they have an english option for Shin Megami Tensei 9? I can't believe it's only $10.

I was about to mention those two games seem worth noting in the Gamecube section of the sale. Too bad I already got both of these... I'm way too impulsive and not enough of a CAG when it comes to import games.

Nintendo Puzzle Collection - $39.90

Kururin Squash - $29.90

Might pick these up:

Kessen II PS2 $16
Capcom vs SNK 2 EO GC $23
King of Fighters EX GBA $19.50

Thanks OP
Nice price on Astroboy, I might go for it just to have a JPN GBA game and the dialogue doesn't matter much to me.
The last time Play-Asia had Astro Boy for GBA on sale, some folks mentioned that were improvements made in the US version over the JPN version. You might want take those into consideration before making a purchase... Here's the discussion:

Ahh thanks judy! I didn't know BB had it for $20, didn't really pay attention to it much. Its like the same price (sans tax) after a GGC. Guess I'll just pick it up at BB sometime.

Sorry to go off topic but anyone know of some other sites like this place as reliable and trustworthy as it seems to be?

Here's a few games that I'm still interested in, but I'm riding the fence because I don't want to dip further into debt....

Capcom Fighting Jam w/Master's Disc DVD (Japanese PS2) $29.90
http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-1tdq-71-40-84-j-70-4l6.html

Crimson Tears (US PS2) $19.90
http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-1tdq-71-7w-84-j-70-oyf.html

Sega Ages Vol 12 & 13 Deluxe Windbreaker Set (Japanese PS2) $69.90
http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-1tdq-71-41-84-j-70-4qg.html

The only reason why I'm interested in this is to get that damn windbreaker :) There's no size listed, but I'm almost assuming that I will not be able to fit in it *curses his luck* It might be worth it for someone else here though (BTW The games included are the Outrun remake and a Puyo Puyo Collection)

freeloader discs won't work with some games. Konga for example will let you play, but you can't save. Make sure to get confirmation that the freeloader works with a game before you import. Of course you could just install a switch which actually allows you to convert a GC between jp and us mode at will. Easy, cheap, and totally legal. You can even find legit place to do it online like ncsx.

EDIT:
Kururin Squash
Simple 2000 vol 64 : Splatter House
and a case for DS cards.

I hope you know those cost the same here, or less if you look (I got my Capcom Fighting Evolution for $15)

The only reason why I was debating getting the Japanese version of the game was for the extra DVD. I'm always interested in seeing a game get totally dominated by someone (some of the movies in Virtua Fighter 4: Evo are super sick, including the footage of someone playing Akira using one hand).

Crimson Tears would be an afterthought if I ordered anything else along with it, but knowing my pile o shame, I should not even attempt to think about buying it....

Metal Slug 4 JPN US$ 24.90

is this going to come out for the usa?

i modded my ps2 for yoshinoya, but if metal slug 4 isnt coming to the usa, i might as well import it.
