I really need to get organized, I'm runnin out of room for my games, dvds, and cds. Does anyone know where I can get a good rack or case? I need somethin that will last, not small but nothin too big, nice looking, and preferrably black. I know I probably won't get anythin good online, but if you know of any good ones in any stores that would help. I'm also open to any other organizing tips/advice. Thanks.

I recommend just getting a bookshelf and using that. I use one for my games (I have my snes games in those custom cases) and it looks nice. I can see everything and it's in order. Also, you can put stuff on top like pictures or figurines or whatever you like.

You can buy one from somewhere like target or walmart for >$50, but you'd probably have to put it together yourself. Otherwise, you could look at a consignment shop if you have a SUV / Van / Truck you can transport in.

bookshelves are kinda iffy right now for me. i dont think id have enough room for one, unless i can find a good small one.

http://www.boltz.com has some of the best looking stuff and offers different colors. Only problem is they're rather expensive. The plus side is that a lot of them are modular, meaning you can buy another one later to connect to it once your collection gets even larger.

I get these 14 capacity DVD holders made by CaseLogic at Circuit City for $5.99 a piece. They interlock together and screw onto the wall and look pretty nice. You can configure it however you like and add onto it as needed. Good if you are short on floor space like me.

Those are the Case Logic cases. I'm looking into getting them myself. For other wall options, check out these "Stackebo" racks from Ikea. They are $4.99 each and hold 17 DVDs. I currently use them for my DS/GBA games.

I have something similar to that second one, but you need to keep in mind how tall it is. I've looked at some of those and they're just not tall enough for me, as I prefer something floor standing, not something that needs to be placed on top of something else. I got a spinning rack that looks pretty cool and holds a nice load of games, and I just saw one that is about twice as big, let me see if I can't dig it up for you.

The one I have is similar to this

The one thing I would like is something that holds DS games since I have about 25 of them.

Edit #2: This one is pretty sweet too:

If you buy cheap, it's going to be made cheap. Applies to Ikea as well.

I'm typing on one of their computer desks, it's fantastic quality. Matter of fact, while Ikea customer service sucks a fat one, their products kick ass.
