Stolen from FW ...

Here is the deal.
First, You need a Dell SB 20% off E&A coupon, you can find it on eBay for somewhere around $7.
Secondly, you call up the Dell SB number(1-877-816-3355), because it isn't listed on the website.
Then, place the order your total should be $319~ plus tax(if applicable).

Not sure if any games are included in the 20% off, because software is prohibited, but you can try. Or you can go for the $800 bundle at 20% off.

... a little bit of effort, just thought everyone here should know.

eek comes out to 350 after all is said and done, i think overstock may be worth the extra 10 bucks
is that for the core sytem, or the hard drive + head set + wireless controller?
Its the premium/platinum unless dell is still the only retailer still charging 399 msrp for the core

I have no idea what this sentence fragment means. Maybe I need more coffee.

It means you need 20% off coupon that's valid for Electronics & Accessories (E&A) for this deal. It also has to be for Small Business (SB) section of Dell (there're three main ones: Home, SB, EPP).

I'm gonna take a stab at it: Dell Small Business 20% of Electronics & Accessories. I'm not sure how well Dell checks to see if you're actually a small business, so this deal may be YMMV.

Thanks for the clarification!
i have waited this long, will wait for it to be $149 and have loads of $20 platinum hits games
Waited this long? It's only been out 8 months.

You'll be waiting 9 to 12 times longer than that for it to drop to $149, as in 6-8 years, lol.

Im waiting for it to have some next gen compititon so that it will drop. I don't plan to get any new gen console until fall 2008 at least.

I'll get a Wii, (there's that word again, lol), excuse me, new Nintendo at launch, "if it's $200", because never played a Gamecube and have stuff I wanted to play.

I'm waiting for the 360 to change to the new microprocessor, and as you said, let the conso;e competition really kick in to "hopefully" lower the MSRP for the Premium SKU to around $350.
Someone's always posting an insane Dell thing like this, do any of them ever actually go through and arrive?
Been wondering the same thing... maybe they all die from DELL anthrax?
No, these Dell deals are legit. It just takes a fair amount of legwork to get a coupon.

or you could just buy the coupon for around like 7-8 bucks

yes this deal works. I ordered it on wednesday and the item came the next day. Was kinda surprised because they said it would be shipped via ground and expected to arrive next week. Paid 340 bucks total after tax and coupon via ebay. Didn't expect to buy an 360 so soon or for over 250 bucks, but oh well.
