What is YOUR favorite game of all time, any system?

Perfect Dark. spent hours upon hours playing multiplayers with my cousins, the "let-me-stick-mines-on-your-head-while-you-run-outside" strategy was oh-so fun.
 
It's too hard for me to choose just one. there are way too many good ones, but here's a tip of the iceburg of some I have played more than once an dlove, Metal gear Solid, Chrono Cross/trigger, Paper Mario, Metroid games (i.e. more than one, actually make that the entire series), etc. etc.
 
Without hesitation: Valkyrie Profile (PS1)
That game had awesome graphics, sound, a compelling story, and characters who you came to care about. Near the end of the game you cared wether Lenneth would ever find out her true origins. Few games do that. Its a shame that it is ridiculously hard to find, with sealed copies on ebay fetching $60+ a pop. The only reason I have mine is because I chanced upon it at a garage sale ($10 no instructions, cracked case).

im not much of an oldschool gamer, but i did enjoy games such as goldeneye, mgs, and stuff...but those arent really old school...but you know what i mean...

anyway, you can prolly guess what mine is by the sig and avy i have...but if not...its twisted metal black w/ twisted metal 2 and gta3 rounding off number 2 and 3 respectively
 
NBA Hangtime (arcade/N64). Unlimited replay value and unlimited fun. I'm glad to see Secret of Mana get a couple mentions, easily in my top 10.
 
No way I could pick only one, but if I had to it would probably be one of the childhood favorites of FF3, Chrono Trigger, or Secret of Mana.
 
I can't pick one game... but I really like Secret of Mana, Metroid Prime/Super Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, Zelda III, Yoshi's Island, FF VI, IX and I guess toss Sly Cooper in there as well.

wow, no one is picking PC games!? Master of Magic baby! That game rocks! Got that for Christmas and played nothing else until summer!

Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn and the Throne of Bhall expansion pack are number one for me. Skies of Arcadia: Legends, Tales of Symphonia, Final Fantasy IV, Chrono Trigger, and Knights of the Old Republic are right behind BG2.
 
Super Mario Bros 3. It's been at least 8 years since I played it last, and yet I can still remember every secret, every song, and all the levels. I'll never forget it, and will forever be my favorite game. 2nd runner up would be Megaman X. and 3rd Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.
 
Half Life for the PC. And I'm speaking just the origianl HL single player, none of the mods. Second is Metroid Prime, followed by a tie between Rez and Paper Mario.
