That first Cantina scene seemed as long as the movie itself. No wonder they cut it.

I think the old laserdiscs had these scenes , along with the Jabba the Hutt stand-in .

That cut of the cantina was pretty boring, but it was funny to see Greedo speak in English.
It's nice to finally see the scenes with Luke and Biggs, but I can see why they were cut.
