Columbus, OH B&M ONLY!!!

On August 20, Micro Center will be opening a new gaming department at the Columbus, OH store. This gaming department will eventually involve buy/sell/trade.

On to the deal... To promote the new department, MC will have Xbox 360s for $100 OFF after MIR, at the Columbus, OH store ONLY!!!! I think this applies to both Core and Regular systems, making them $199.99 and $299.99 respectively. Additionally, Madden '07 will be available Aug. 22 with a free $20 Gift Card! I do not know which versions this applies to.

Flyers will be going out about Aug. 18.

Notes:
-This deal is not yet official (but trust me, its happening)
-Columbus, OH in-store only (as in, not available online)
-Do not call, they probably won't know what you're talking about.

Sounds to good to be true. Wouldn't it make more sense to give a free game of your choice away? Either way they are losing money, but a $100.
 
And, but of course, my contact in Columbus won't be around that weekend. Feel free to insert any string of vulgarities and colorful phrases here.
 
I work at the Columbus Micro Center and on Aug. 20th we start a sale where both systems have 100 dollar rebates on them, but it is only instore..
so if anyone lives close to the Columbus, Ohio Micro Center and wants one this will be the time to get em.

It's a pretty good deal, but since it only applies to a very specific location, it belongs here.
 
true...that makes sence, and if anyone wants one ordered im pretty sure we should be able to set that up cause all three of us have 360's
 
I got the flyer in the mail today...good deals to be had....anyone want to buy a 360?? I already have one, but this deal is too good to pass up...
 
possible madden for 30 bucks for me for 360....god i wish i didnt hate ea madden and the fact that the best football game ever is no longer made...
 
lol ur a joke mehunglo...we got about 1200 360's about 800 premiums and about 400 cores and its only instore and not online so we will have plenty but good try
 
Anybody else going tommorow morning to pickup a 360. Im prolly gonna get there about 10:30 since they open at 11. Think thats early enough?

there was a little bit of a line our front before they opened but definetly tons of 360s to go around....got a premium, play and charge kit, and a vga switch (to share my lcd with my pc, ibook, and 360)

hey thanks micro center people, really helped me out a lot. my gamertag i CYRiX i but I only have ridge racer 6 (cheapess game :D).
 
no prob guys...my gamertag is obviously at the bottom of my sig and ill hopefully be on here more posting this stuff

oh and we sold 114 360's today
i think it was 108 premiums and 6 cores

and anyone that gets the plan is deff smart cause im on my second one now so...thank the plan :)

p.s. we still have about 650 premiums and 300 cores
 
We just bought ours today!! :)

Didn't see anything about any $20 gift card or anything...fantastic deal on the system though. I would say we saw about 10 premiums sold while we were there (20 min or so).
